There is not a follow through. I talked to a person there who.promised to call me back the next day for my mental health needs. Never got back to me. When I contacted another office and got a refferal..i got a phone call from another lady that never called me back. When I finally got a phone appt. They stood me up. Trying to get meds on the app..i get an error.....i love my Dr but don't like optum. Also my referrals are 50 miles round trip. Why??? When there are Drs in Santa Clarita. I am totally disappointed and will never do a h m o after this year. I have been trying to see a counselor for weeks. I have had to call many times to get medications..their computer system has flaws. There was no air conditioning at this location. The only way to get anything done with optum is to keep calling to witch I feel like I am bothering everyone and I have to be a total pain in the a*** Like I am begging.......

Strongly recommend against going. Find another office. Their doctors appeared to have a political agenda in their treatment. Was severely put off.

At least I'm alive. I'd like to give them a zero, however. They send me bills/patient/doctor info for other patients (my apologies for the last name, but Jesus!). I filed a HIPAA complaint on them for this. When I contracted Covid-19, I was very ill and home alone, unable to get out of bed, and could only manage to call them by asking my iPhone's Siri to call my doctor. They connected me with a registered nurse who told me I would have to go find another doctor if I needed help. I tried to explain (twice) that I couldn't get out of bed, much less go anywhere--and this was an RN talking to me, who told me that no, there was nothing they would do for me. This is why we have 1 million+ dead from Covid-19 in the US. Like I said, at least I'm alive, but I will NEVER go back there. The people there are fine, but they unfortunately work for an institution that should not be permitted to treat actual living human beings. I quit. I have scheduled an appointment with a new plan and new doctor--one who answers phone calls and actually PROVIDES health care. I'm not big on YELP trash sessions, but seriously people of SCV, save yourselves and your loved ones and go anywhere else. They totally deserve a ZERO, but at least I lived to find a new medical practice.

One of the worst experiences I have had with a doctors office. Please beware. There are other options. Would not recommend going here. Many of the good reviews appear to be from before they became Optum.

Optum is overall horrible. Will not call you back. Will charge you for simple phone calls. Never has appointments available. Will continue to bill you directly for things your insurance has already paid for. Will refer you to urgent care the majority of the time.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND To be honest I usually never leave a review. This office used to be great 5 years ago. They are constantly making mistakes and no ever takes responsibility . I made an appointment with the front desk last time I was there with my son 3 months prior to his appointment, they called me 5 days before the appointment to notify me that the doctor doesn't see kids a 13 year old. I miss Dr Sosian she was the best doctor ever and now that shes gone. I can't tolerate the mistakes the office constantly makes. They have lost 5 in my family and I will not recommend them again.

I've been going to this location for many years and the practice has changed from other practices to Optum over that time. In the past year I feel that they are just trying to optimize revenue rather than treating patients fairly. They won't renew my prescription for a maintenance type drug (not a controlled substance) even though I have been on it for years and it's been less than a year since my last appointment. I told them that my insurance won't pay for me to come in every 9 months for a check-up but they wouldn't renew it. Additionally, last year when I had my check-up they set-up a call after the in-person meeting for the physician assistant to review my lab results. This was literally a 2 minute call where she said, "you labs look good except your cholesterol is a bit high, you should get more exercise". Well, they charged me an office visit fee for that call. I called them and asked them to remove that charge but they wouldn't. So, while I think my actual health care has been fine, I'm not willing to put up with being manipulated so that they can charge for more visits as I have better things to do with my time than go to the doctor every time I need my prescription renewed. I'm looking for another doctor for myself and my wife now.

I had inhaled a cloud of dust moving boxes in the garage. I haven't had problems with my asthma for over a year, but this caused it to rear it's head. I called for an appointment and prescription renewal on my out-dated inhaler. I was told my asthma inhaler prescription renewal was denied and that the next available appointment was 37 days away!! Any "doctor" that will refuse a patient the ability to breathe, and further tell them they have to wait 37 days to get relief (enough to breathe!) is no longer my doctor. They further keep calling and mailing (a dozen or so times) asking when I am going to reschedul an appointment *I* cancelled. If I kept their appointment I would be dead. I received what I needed from the ER zero help from them. I would never recommend this location on Cinema Dr Santa Clarita (Doctor Lena S.. Look elsewhere to actually receive healthcare. Disgusting treatment. I will report this location to the medical board.

Love my doctor. However the front receptionist was rude when it came to my insurance. Wish she told me before I had been seen that my insurance was canceled unbeknownst to me. Tells me that I'll be billed in a very rude manner several times. Had me sign a bunch of paperwork and didn't explain what I was signing for. I was in a lot of physical pain, hence why I went to see my doctor and felt she was demeaning. Left feeling worse than before.

I understand that COVID is straining the healthcare system, but I have a persistent and escalating health concern that has been going on for months and I avoided making an appointment so as not to burden the healthcare system. But the issue has not gone away, and I need to see someone. I've been trying for a week, sitting on hold for hours, to get an appointment with my doctor, who hasn't bothered to pick up the phone or respond. So the HMO booked me an appointment with Dr. Dang Tutran instead. I had to take the day off work to go to this appointment - which I didn't want to do, but I need this addressed. So I show up only to be told by the receptionist that the appointment was cancelled - without my knowledge - and that, apparently, Tutran doesn't even work afternoons. So why was I booked an appointment in the afternoon? Why wasn't I contacted and warned not to take the day off work and waste my time? What kind of doctor is too lazy to work a full day during a global pandemic? The receptionist then tried to book me another appointment - two weeks away - during my workday. I can't wait that long and I can't take infinite sick days to go to the doctor. Especially if I'm going to show up and the doctor cancels on a whim. I'll just go blind, since no one will see me. I have a persistent health issue and I'm being ignored by my entire HMO. What's the point of having health insurance when none of the doctors will make time for me? I guess I'll just suffer, since apparently my healthcare is worthless and I can't get access to a doctor. I wouldn't bother with Dr. Tutran unless you're willing to gamble your health on a callous, negligent, irresponsible doctor. Sorry, she can't see you now. She doesn't work afternoons.

We've been coming to this office for a while. First with doctor Goff who was great and now doctor Sosoian. Ever since they switched to Optum the service is HORRIBLE. I have been on hold for over an hour and trying for almost 3 hours to get a same day appointment. I highly recommend switching AWAY from this office. I will be finding a new doctor as soon as possible. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOER SERVICE OF ALL MY DOCTOR'S OFFICES.

This office is horrible. I talked to a rep on a thursday she realized the impo of me being looked at so she scheduled a visit for the next day, a Friday afternoon. So i pulled some strings at work and got out early to make it to the appt ( so i lost hours and pay). I show up to the appt. And the receptionist was so rude. Pretty much she asked why i was there and made it seem like i was an inconvenience. I told her i have an appt. She checked and my appt was canceled. Nobody called to tell me or left a message. I decided to reschedule bc i had a condition that had to be addressed and was eventually seen by dr. dang. I get a bill for the co-pay. I called to ask to see if they could at least waive the co-pay since there miscommunication caused me to lose time and money from work. Pretty much they told me no. It's only a few bucks but that is the least they could have done for their miscommunication and rude staff.
