This place is awesome. I've known people who have bought cars here over the years and they always get great deals. I came to sell my car and the guy gave me a fair deal and made it such a painless process. I was going to try to sell the car myself but it would have taken months of work to have people come to my home to test drive it and go to DMV, etc. Mountain Motors saved me a ton of time. So worth it and I highly recommend them to anyone in Santa Clarita!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Octavio was the best car salesman I have experienced. He was easy and clear to communicate with via phone. The car is exactly as described if not better! There were some stains on the ceiling and he cleaned them to perfection. Financing was clear and explained-- he was buddies with the finance guy and he got me a better deal after some back-and-forth. I would recommend Mountain Motors to all my friends and family. This dealership is on your side throughout the entire process.

Bobby was a very nice guy but we were interested in buying a vehicle and went to the expense of driving 45 minutes there and took the car to a local mechanic to have a full inspection which they knew about. However, the mechanic looked at the car and saw that the computer system couldn't be read as it had to be reset. They'd charge another $150 to do this which we weren't willing to pay as we'd already paid $85 for a full inspection which couldn't be performed. We told Bobby this and he seemed fine to let us walk away, which doesn't speak well. Perhaps it was a simple oversight but regardless, it left us uncomfortable . He should've known about this and had it reset after the car was smog checked so the car could be properly inspected. Disappointed to say the least.

It is always interesting to read reviews, especially if one can contrast one's own experience against that of others. Mountain Motors has a 3.5-star rating, but at least for me I was extremely well treated, 5-star experience. Mark Parigan is Mountain Motors' buyer and was the person I dealt with in selling my Honda HR-V. While I had reservations towards a small independent used car lot, I've seen Moutain Motors at their current location for 30 years, observing a wide range of cars there; with a long history like that, I was willing to give them a try. I had done some online research as to my car's value and (via True Car) was referred to Mountain Motors. Mark is a very personable person and, after quickly and efficiently evaluating the vehicle, he indicated he was more than willing to meet the price True Car had estimated. Knowing that he was the first of three appointments I had, however, he said, "Look, do your other appointments and let me know what you find. Give me a chance and I'll beat what the others offer you." Both of my other appointments came back with higher prices, but I circled back to Mark that evening and we came to an agreement, making an appointment for first thing the next morning to complete the sale; in ten minutes, we were finished and I left with a check in hand. That Mark was so straightforward, personable, and kept his commitments is everything I could have hoped for. It was truly an excellent experience.

Customer service is horrible. He said he get back to me about the lenders for the car, never called but 6 hours went by so I called to see what was going on and Amherst started giving me the run around. Those other reviews from previous customers are accurate. DONT COME HERE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Octavio before I made the hour drive out to this barron location, and he said he would be able to work with me on price. When I got there, the vehicle I was looking at was $4000 over the KBB value. He would not budge on price whatsoever. Wasted a day of my life.

went to look at an acura RDX that was $3000 over kelley blue book value. when we asked octavio why this was over priced, he said we were using the "wrong kelley blue book". refused to discuss pricing and was very rude and lacked any personable skills. NOT worth the drive out to the super desolate location either. total scam. don't waste your time.

Mark has been incredible to deal with. He was referred to me by a buddy while I was on my way to carmax to sell my car. I thought what the heck I'll give this guy a shot. Everything he said he would do he did. He gave me an extremely fair price on my trade in and was just a pleasure doing business with. I'll be honest, I've always been extremely skeptic of these little used cars lots from stories I've heard. This is not the case with Mountain Motors. I highly recommend you give this local guy a change to earn your business. If you're a skeptic like me I guarantee he will change your mind.

We went here to look at a truck as we needed one for work. When we got there, Bobby came out to speak with us and refused to show it to us. He told us that he believed that we would not be able to buy it, and therefore wouldn't even let us look inside it. He proceeded to be condescending and rude to us until we walked away. I definitely do not recommend this place as it is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Just to clarify, we could have paid for the truck completely right then and there.
