Dropped in as a visiting student and enjoyed the class.Great mix of drills, technique, and rolling. Welcoming team and strong professor with Brazilian roots.Really like how professor actively coached during the rolling session and had a debrief after to go over common things he saw to help individuals and the class as a whole.Strong gym and a great time.

very welcoming atmosphere, many many high level athletes attend this gym and mario is very understanding and extremely friendly. i recommend this gym to all of my friends and family. if you have any questions mario or his instructors are willing to help you until you understand. you know its a good gym when you have multiple other coaches attending his lessons! dont be afraid to come in and check it out for yourself!

Professor Mario is one of the most caring and upbeat people you will meet. He cares about the individual as much as the art. Children as young as old thru adults I've personally witnessed grow as people under his instruction.Exercise experience all the way to professional have been through the doors in Valencia. You really become part of a family that is rare in most martial circles. From day one you are family. Me and my son have gone there and it is all that I have said.Absolutely the best in Los Angeles County.

We love it here, we have been coming here for over a year and now have 2 kids doing jiujitsu and they look forward to going every week. Professor Mario is awesome with the kids.

Lots of technical and high skilled grapplers train here, and they are always willing to help others their game. The gym is very family and friend oriented, plus Mario is such an amazing coach.
