I took my lady friend in to purchase a quality pair of shoes for work. We were helped by what I must describe as a duo. Two professional men who were well-versed in the craft, and definitely knew the product. I made a purchase that have so far met all expectations.

If you want to deal with Marlen the supposed store manager at the Valley Fair mall location be prepared to deal with her extremely rude, unprofessional, and discriminating behavior. Why they would continue to employ someone like her is completely ridiculous she is not a professional at all. She talks to customers like they are beneath her. The situation was this: I have only been to this store twice in my whole life and it was for the holiday season. Once in November, and again in December. I was doing some holiday shopping and knew that my girlfriend and her sister wanted some UGGs. I bought one pair of UGGs each time I went in. Fast forward to around the end of December or beginning of January, I make my third visit. After receiving their gifts, my niece wanted a pair as well. I go into the store to find her a pair. I find one. As soon as I ask Marlen for it she completely shuts me down and talks to me as if I was one of her children when I am not that much younger than her. As soon as I asked her response was: No, we're done selling you anymore UGGs. Huh? I was completely confused I asked her to elaborate, what did she mean? She repeats herself. I was thinking maybe she confused me with someone who had came earlier or something so I proceed to tell her this is my first time coming in today. She then tells me: you've been coming in all the time buying all our UGGs. At this point now I'm annoyed and upset with her false claims and especially the way she was talking to me, but kept my composure. RIDICULOUS. On top of that, each time I went in I bought a different color/type of UGG each time, she may have said I have been buying the same UGG over and over again (more on this later). As if she has some type of hot commodity that she only blesses the people SHE DEEMS AS WORTHY (this is discrimination). Completely ridiculous! She didn't need to handle the situation the way she did, she made me feel like I did something wrong and I should be ashamed, embarrassed me in front of everyone in the store. She did not care who was watching, she embarrassed me in front of customers and everything. I told her: I've only been in this store two times before in my entire life. She then asks for my phone # to check my purchase history. After she checks it she says: Yup, you came in once in November and once in December. WHAT HAPPENED TO I COME IN ALL THE TIME? Is this considered all the time? Nope, she knows it and I know it and I told her just that, and she doesn't apologize, doesn't justify herself, doesn't give me anything except: We're not selling them to you it's 1 per season. Amazing! What will she think of next? This was complete BS and I doubt that this is the store policy as I know plenty of people who shop there more than ONCE PER SEASON and most likely buy the same style more than ONCE PER SEASON! Now she is speaking with a lower tone because she feels stupid and knows she's in the wrong, she saw clear as day after asking for my number to pull up my account that I only came in twice before a month apart each time, and the UGGs I was buying were different each time so what was her excuse now? First I come in all the time, then I supposedly buy the same UGG over and over, and now it's one purchase per style per season. RIDICULOUS she is one of those people that once a mistake on her part is made she does not hold herself accountable. HER EGO IS HUGE. She was clearly in the wrong and did not want to own up to it. Like a child. This could've easily been fixed with an apology, if she didn't want to apologize that's fine I'm not a baby I can handle it but then proceeds to tell me I can't sell them to you. She knew she was in the wrong and wanted to still put blame on me with as little words as possible. I don't fit the typical aesthetic of the type of customers that usually shop here I'm sure and I saw her look at me up and down judging me, discriminating. Where is your professionalism? Long story short: I ordered some boots 2 days after I ordered my toddler some similar ones on another website since they didn’t unfortunately have his size here. Anywho my boots were gone and shipped before his were even processed. I just received them today and they are perfect. I am amazed at how fast the shipping service was especially with us being in the holiday busy times I didn’t expect to get it so soon. I am more than pleased definitely will recommend and purchase again.

Rude attitude - I'll never return. I really wanted to shop for some comfortable travel sandals but the confrontational attitude of the salesperson, who I suspect was either the owner or manager, made me leave. Awful.

Martin provided grade A customer service and helped my wife and I get 3 pairs of hoka bondi. He measured our feet to get the most accurate size for the shoe and we didn't even ask him to do it. Honestly one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had.

The staff @ Westfield Oakridge Mall has a great customer service. They offer support and understand our needs, no matter if they have to go several times to the storage. They even notice my little puppy.

I bought Hoka Bondi shoes here for a 5k. I found that Sport Basement had a 20% discount for the same shoes because I was running a 5k that benefited the YMCA, Boys and Girls club of Silicon Valley, etc. I thought it made sense to return the shoes I bought from Hansen's because of the price difference. And these shoes weren't cheap...The return process, should I say the least, was odd. I was asked why I was returning the shoes and I was transparent, and stated the reasons I said above. I experienced a shift in mood from the person who was at the counter (older man). He seemed to have become upset and fumbled, stating that they are a small business and that's why they can't offer promotions. Okay, fair, I get it. But what irked me was the fact that he kept saying that his store sells "real Hokas, and the only store that sells real Hokas", which he was insinuating that the shoes I bought from Sports Basement weren't "real" lol. Then he kept "apologizing" in a passive aggressive way saying "I'm sorry we cannot offer you a discount", I said fine. But he "apologized in a passive aggressive way, not once, not twice, but at least SIX times until we left the store. Needless to say, we felt uncomfortable and that whole exchange left a really bad taste in my mouth. Please don't try to make your customers feel bad for trying to return a product that didn't have a good price.It's unfortunate because I support these smaller stores when I can, but this interaction made the decision for me to never come back here again.I've actually bought shoes from this store from this same man a year ago for work and that interaction was more pleasant because I purchased a pair of shoes there Word of warning, their return policy is very strict as well. You only have ten days to return if you changed your mind. Thankfully, I returned the shoes within three days, otherwise, I feel like there would have been more trouble.Overall, just buy elsewhere. I'm all for supporting small business but if they act entitled and bitter when you return items, then my support will have to go elsewhere.

I had wonderful experience today at hansen’s . I went shopping for Hoka running shoes , staff was very informative and customer oriented they made me try normal and wide hoka shoes , measured my feet size and i was able to make quick decision which one is good for me . Thanks a lot guys
