I'd suggest the manager in this CVS pharmacy to get FAMILIAR with their OWN system and try not to get things messed up!

I do not know why people hate this CVS. I went there today for a vaccination.First overall store impressions. The store is large, well stocked, and clean. It was 11am, and there were maybe 5 people shopping and two clerks working the store (one stocking shelves and one the register). The restrooms are locked, and you need a clerk to open the door for you with a key. I waived to a clerk and requested to use the restroom. They walked tme to the door, unlocked it, opened the door, and said "have nice day" as they walked away. The restroom was large, clean and well lit.I then checked in at the pharmacy 15 minutes before my appointment as instructed. The person who checked me in was quick, friendly, and attentive. I had a problem at check-in (not CVS's fault) that they figured out and resolved quickly. The pharmacy was very busy with a constant stream of people picking up prescriptions and waiting for shots. I waited 12 minutes until the EXACT time of my appointment and was called to the vaccination area. The pharmacist gave me my injection, and I was done and out of the store within two minutes after that.

This pharmacy has let me down for the last time. Every other week there's a new pharmacist. Things that are routine in other CVS pharmacies, make this 222 Saratoga Ave. seem like a special needs operation. Every other script of the same med was treated as if its a 'new' thing... same questions every time. Never a consistent vibe. The Latina pharm tech is the only one behind the counter with cust serv skills, a friendly demeanor, and follow through. The final straw was when they changed the hours w/o so much as a text.

I was robbed at the CVS on 222 Saratoga Avenue, Santa Clara CA 95050 today!I brought $1900 cash to pay my rent in the amount of $1890.14 via WIPS and the cashier “Jeri” told me after she added their fee of $3.99 that my amount was $1894.14 and I still owed about $4. I felt confused because I counted my cash 3 times before I left my house and had taken exactly $1900 from my bank account in two separate days to make sure I had enough to cover my rent and their 3.99 fee (I had gone there two days before to try to pay with my debit card and found out they only took cash). However, I saw the line of people waiting getting bigger and so I just went to the atm machine they have next to the cashier and took another $20 bill and gave to the cashier. She typed the amount I gave her ($1920) and the machine told her she owed me $25.87 in change. She stopped and said “Wait! I’m confused… no you don’t get $25… it’s not right…” then she counts the money again and still doesn’t believe the machine, so she then calls the manager…The manager arrives and looks at the screen and tells Jeri: “No, it’s correct (referring to the amount on the machine), but Jerri interrupts the manager and convinces her that it’s not. So the manager proceeds to hand me $5.87 and goes back to where she came from. I did not leave the store and started putting the numbers on my phone’s calculator and got exactly the same amount their machine was telling them to give me: $25.87.I politely asked the cashier to call the manager back because the amount was incorrect and she did it visibly annoyed.Once the manager came, I calmly and in a lower voice not to cause a scene told her that my calculations matched the number on their machine and not the amount she gave me to which she responded by saying she needed to count the money in the drawer then. She went inside the enclosure to get a machine and facing opposite me, started placing the cash on the machine to be weighed. This whole time, I have no visibility to the numbers that machine was showing to her and she kept removing some bills from each pile and putting the other pile on the machine. Then she simply told me with a grin on her face that I was wrong and left.No customer service, no apologies, no willingness to find the problem from the get go and I was left $20 poorer and feeling like I did something wrong for asking the money to be recounted.I am now considering filing a claim just because of the principal of the whole thing. I work really hard for my money and can’t believe I was robbed at a CVS store by two sofisticated scam artists who most likely have being doing the same scam on a lot of shoppers for a long time without being noticed because people are always in such a hurry to leave the store and will be second guessing themselves after they finally go look for the missing money at home. These two should be at least fired, if not jailed!I will NEVER shop at CVS again and will make sure all my friends and family do the same. I’ll post this on social media too because the world needs to beware.

Pharmacy is disgusting. I came to get a booster shot for COVID 19, and after getting an appointment & checking in, I waited 25 minutes in front of their faces while ignored. When I finally approached them they pretty much refused to give me the vaccination without the paper vaccine card, despite having all of the needed details on their computer. I insisted and now I have been waiting another 10 minutes (so far) for them to prepare my vaccine.

No cashier available resulting in long wait time. Didn't want to use self checkout because I needed to apply coupon and self checkout was confusing.

A rotten store in a chain that should be out of business. Corporate CVS makes noises about actually being concerned about people's health, and then they set up their pharmacy counter so that whenever a customer picks up a prescription, they need to press the same buttons on a touch screen that every other customer has touched and then use the same stylus that every other customer has handled to write and then print their name. The only point of this moronic exercise is to spread germs--making a squiggly line with the stylus will suffice as a signature and as the printed version of your name, so the system isn't actually recording anything. If you want to purchase something other than a prescription, you encounter the same Typhoid Mary touch screen experience at checkout--only this time the screen will want to know whether you want to contribute to a charity you never heard of before completing the transaction and it will require you to hit yet another button if you want a receipt. This is after you've actually run the gauntlet of losers who are almost always present outside trying to run yet another charity grift on anyone entering or exiting the store for another bogus organization. At least rain and cold weather seems to deter those con artists. Finally, this outfit has so little respect for their customers that the cashier station by the door is typically not staffed. Want an actual cashier instead of trying to fight with one of their automated checkout machines that don't work? Be prepared for a wait, or perhaps just walk out with your intended purchases since CVS is clearly demonstrating that they aren't interested in your money. This place is a shoplifter's paradise--that's the one thing it has going for it!

The pharmacy has NO idea what they’re doing. Been getting texts way too early (by a month) that my Rx was ready. I go and it’s “on hold”. I can’t pick it up later so I have someone else do it for me a couple days later. They go to pick it up and it’s STILL NOT READY. It was only supposed to take an hour. These people are bums.

This CVS is great. It is my go to local CVS. The employees here are all friendly and very helpful. They are very quick to come help you if you are looking for an item that is locked in a case. The pharmacy is great as well. I've gotten multiple flu and covid booster shots at this CVS. To get a vaccine, all you need to do is to make an appointment online. The vaccine clinic at the pharmacy moves through all the patients pretty quickly. The pharmacist giving the shot is very skilled and all the vaccines I have gotten, I have hardly felt and were pain free. I recommend this CVS.

They never answer the phone. I was on hold for 30mins, it is a waste of time.I have some infection that need medicine immediately; but I am told that it take at least two days to get my medicine.

Made appointment for vaccination online. While waiting I scrolled Yelp and thought Uh oh. However the pharmacist Johanna was very friendly, process was smooth and went well. My appointment was at 11:00, I checked in on app as requested then stood in line, gave the woman vaccine card, they called me, vaccinated and now I'm waiting the 15 minutes and it is 11:13. Very quick and painless! Thank you CVS pharmacy!

Avoid the pharmacy at all costsThis Cvs as a store is great and clean, the pharmacy is absolutely horrible, multiple times they have messed up my prescription, or not given me the correct amount of pills.Today the pharmacist just decided to not show up, and there was no one to cover, so the pharmacy was just closed. I can’t have my medication filled else where because it is a controlled substance, effectively I am without my meds until tomorrow.Go somewhere else for your medications.

The pharmacist here is akin to the soup guy from Seinfeld. She finds any reason to complicate your order and delay you getting the medicine you need. For example, she felt the doctor made my anxiety medication's directions unclear. Since, in her mind, the directions were ambiguous, no meds for me. Pain in the butt and many unnecessary phone calls ensue. Use a different pharmacy.

Been having great experiences as of late. Been helped by Scott on multiple occasions, including where there were problems with online orders I placed. He cleared up the problem and made me a happy customer.Helped by Sabrina in the pharmacy tonight. She was responsive, courteous, friendly and helpful.Very much appreciate this being my go-to local drug store.
