“It took a while, but we are so happy we found Ao Dai Bao Han. We're not from the area, so one of my bridesmaid's mom actually suggested we go here. Michael was so great to work with and very easy to communicate with. Michael was also not afraid to be honest about his recommendations, but also honored my style preferences. Initially, I did not want a hat but Michael threw it in as a wedding gift and he was right, it really completed my entire outfit. Don't expect as big of a variety as a big wedding boutique. She has limited quantities, but honestly, you don't need more! I tried on 3 different dresses (see photo) that were all so gorgeous and matched my request!

Jessica was incredible with her service. She helped me try on multiple dresses, and she even altered the dress I chose to my liking. I went for 3 dress fittings, and she was always patient and accommodating every single time. She gave me a petticoat to use under my dress for my ceremony shots, and then I took that off for a flowy dreamy vibe at the beach.

Since I had a forest/beach wedding and I was worried the dress would get too dirty. But JC took care of the cleaning as part of the rental fee.

I HIGHLY recommend getting a dress from here!

“Vicky did my florals for my wedding and she completely exceeded my expectations! Im typically type b, and have a hard time making concrete decisions. I sent Vicky my mood board and let her take the wheel - let me tell you, she 100% delivered. We discussed my budget and decided that silk flowers would be the best choice. I was a little hesitant and afraid it would look cheap, but it was the absolute opposite! Dont get me wrong, of course up close you can tell they aren't real. But you can tell her product is of great quality. When i looked at my venue in whole, i couldnt even tell. The florals photographed so beautifully! “I came here to rent my son's tuxedo for Prom and it came with shoes for I believe $130. There is a $50 deposit if there is damage, etc. if everything is fine, you get it back. She does take measurements to get yr ideal size. We checked around other places like the tuxedo store at the Great Mall and it was $180 for tux rental. There is a selection of tux styles to choose from and we will be able to get it Thursday night for Saturday and return it Sunday/Monday.”

“PSA future brides : go book an appointment with Kelly P! I've literally been running around all over the South Bay to find that "perfect dress" but each & every time, I felt so bad about my body & how the dresses look on me. Although all my friends and bridesmaids insisted that I looked great (ofc bc they're supportive) I would leave 4-5 diff bridal shops feeling so disappointed, devastated and upset about not being able to find the dress that I had envisioned myself in for the wedding day. I'm so glad that I decided to come back to Trudy's for the 2nd time and got assisted by Kelly. She's so warm and welcoming, and immediately made me feel good confidence --- not to mention, we had so much fun!! She took my inspos and went to grab the dresses that I had wanted but also found a few more that she thought would fit my style. After trying on all the dresses from fire & flare, Aline & satin body con, I adored the dress she hand selected for me and was soooo close to saying yes, but after telling her about the wedding venue and the wedding aesthetic + color, Kelly insisted that try back on my second favorite because it would make the vibe better in a more classy way (as Ive mentioned that's what I wanted to her earlier in our convo). She also took extra care in making sure I was 100% confident, gave me tips & pointers on how each dress looked on my body and everything she said was so true. She wasn't pushy or instilled fear in me that I "only have 7months left" and told me to sit on the photos, and come back whenever I'm ready. I'm so glad I did because I ended up loving the dress that she recommended after looking at the photos over and over again when I came home. All my bridesmaids also agreed that that dress was the one! I said yes!! I came back and said yes to the dress after trying it on once more, and I cannot thank Kelly enough for all of her patience and help during the process. She definitely understood the assignment!!”

“I came to Elegant Lace twice and worked with two different consultants, Sheryl (who I believe is no longer there) for my first visit and Susana for my second. They both were so kind and knowledgeable and made my experiences really positive and fun! For my first visit, Sheryl sat down with me for a few minutes at the start to get to know a bit more about the wedding and my style, and I showed her some photos of dresses I was interested in. She did an excellent job selecting dresses for me to try and really listened to my likes and dislikes to try to narrow it down and find the best options. I ended up liking the second dress I tried on, but I wasn't 100% sure, so I went back a week later and worked with Susana. I felt like Susana picked up right where Sheryl and I left off! We tried on a few more dresses in the style I liked and then ended with the dress I had initially liked, and when I tried it on for a second time I knew it was the one! The sample dress fit me well, so Susana worked with the manager to let me take it home off the rack with a 10% discount. I really recommend this store! All of the staff I worked with are amazing and they really made the dress shopping experience as fun and stress-free as possible! I also felt like they had a pretty wide selection and an affordable range of pricing without feeling too overwhelmed. They also had a comfy set up of chairs for friends/family and let us bring in our own champagne as well.”
