The girls that work here are friendly and helpful. We were on a mission to buy the perfect gift for our dear friend turning 60 this month. Waxing Poetic was just the right move. They didn't wrapped and accepted our 15% discount with the check in. I will always be happy to give them my business. Fun store...lots of clothing for folks under 50.

I happened to meet our State Senator one day in my small town. We had a conversation about a few good things happening in our state when I noticed a beautiful ring she was wearing. She actually took it off so I could look at it. It was such a beautiful design, and so we’ll made. I told her I had to have one!! I asked her where she got it and she replied “WAXING POETIC.” She explained I could get one online and that’s what I’m about to do right now!! I’m so glad I was introduced to Waxing Poetic.

Simply fantastic shopping experience! Bought two pairs of jeans (and I HATE shopping for jeans). Great collection of funky and practical items. Lovely owner went out of her way to help me find what I needed. Great shop...check it out!

Such a cute shop in the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara! When you need a little break from wine, the Shopkeepers is the perfect place for retail therapy!!! They have awesome selection of clothing and jewelry items, but also, lot of stones and meditation items. They have both equally awesome items for gents and ladies. What I liked the most was that they carry Marvis toothpaste (if you know, you know!!!). Pricing for the Marvis toothpaste was actually cheaper than Amazon! They are doing fantastic job during COVID, and mask/hand sanitizer (they provide hand sanitizer) is required upon entry. Staff was super friendly. Parking can be meh - but this is Funk Zone... What would you expect? This is right next to Lucky Penny/The Lark, so the location is so central to all things Funk Zone. I will be definitely making a visit to get more of Marvis toothpaste, and to see what other awesome things they have in the store.

I love this shop! They have something for everyone! Guys and girls! Cute clothes, great jewelry and unique gifts if you are looking for that "hard to buy for person". :) The staff is super helpful and always friendly too.

My wife bought a necklace for me a few years ago and the chain broke (no fault of WP) and they sent me a replacement with no hassle! W.P.'s mens line is awesome and their customer service is incredible!

Wish I could afford the jacket I tried on. Wonderful and super damn comfortable but the main reason I am writing is that I left my expensive Ray Ban glasses in here last night and figured I would just stop in to give it a shot to see if they are here. Turns out Emily, who helped us yesterday, found them and actually held them!! As soon as we walked in, she said "glasses!" Girl is amazing and super nice. Come here for the clothes and integrity!! Thanks Emily!!

Very expensive. I like the space, but just too expensive. Maybe for Montecito but not really for this area. I think this used to be waxing poetic and I liked that simple concept much better.

Shopkeepers is a real gem in Santa Barbara/Funk Zone. Everything they sell looks as though it was chosen with care and is not really available in many places. I love going to Shopkeepers when I wish I was on vacation because the store reminds me of some kind of unique hybrid of Manhattan & Monterey in Santa Barbara; good quality things in designs and material that are elegant and still chill and down to earth. all the stuff is not just carefully chosen and unique but very useful. The people are knowledgable and cool/down to earth. love this store. the art is hands down some of the most incredible you can find(anywhere). If you're interested in fantastic photography and jewelry, do check out the prints and jewelry line by Waxing Poetic. Being in the Funk Zone, pop in to a winery, take in a beer at a brewery, rather than getting tipsy enjoy great food and go to Shopkeepers to shop! love your store

Unique beautifully curated shop. We love Andres Who makes us feel welcome but gives us the freedom to explore and enjoy the space. We almost always walk out with something whether it's a small delicious chocolate covered marshmallow or present for a friend, like their love book which was perfect for friends who lost their home during the mudslide. The owners and Susan do such a great job and supporting a local community as well. I love their sign that says we are made of Stardust. The fact that they carry the Santa Barbara strong T-shirts We're 100% of the profits go to local nonprofits helping in the recovery is awesome. We love you shopkeepers
