“Located in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone, SeaVees has been my "go to" shop for shoes for years. My 5 star review is long overdue! THE STORY - A loooong SoCal history which has been reawakened .... epitomizing the California beach and surf culture. SeaVees was literally in suspended animation for 40 years but is back and better than ever!THE PRODUCT - Shoes, shoes, shoes and clothes and accessories. They continue to branch out with many styles of shoes..... not just the classic slip on casuals. THE SERVICE- World class customer service. The one time I had a problem, they immediately made it right and then some. No muss, no fuss, no questions asked. That is a sign of great organization! Word on the street is that the head of SeaVees sits behind the counter anonymously now and then to keep his finger on the pulse of the business and customers. Cool!And if that isn't enough, they are socially responsible in a number of levels including donating 1% of revenues for environmental causes! Stop by to experience SeaVees in person. You won't be disappointed!”
“I never leave reviews but my experience here with the manager Debra compelled me to. She is truly exceptional at her job. I walked in wearing sandals not expecting anything but she was such a good saleswoman with amazing customer service skills I walked out in new boots. She could tell what type of arches my feet were and the width and practically read my mind and pulled out anti-fatigue insoles. This is my boot store from now on. They're quality and they look damn good. I wish every store had a manager like her and I hope Red Wing knows how invaluable she is”

“Nice store. Very friendly employees. I guess it’s a sister store to the “only in sb” store down the street.What really stands out about this store is the amount of socks that they carry. There is a sock for every meme. A sock for every profession. A sock for every cartoon character. A sock for every shape, size and color. I got a girlfriend who was a chihuahua loving nurse a few pairs during the holidays some years back. They were nurse themed and chihuahua themed and it was a big hit!I highly recommend this place for any small gifts. A coworker birthday or a secret Santa program would be perfectly suited for this place.Oh yeah they have lots of political socks and they definitely have the trump socks with the fluffy hair.”
“I love this Talbot's. The store is doing everything to make your shopping experience safe and fun during COVID-19. They provide sanitizer on entry, all staff wear face masks, social distancing is enforced and they quarantine the clothes customers try on before they put them back out on the floor. Esther the stylist was wonderful, she helped me by bringing clothes she thought I'd like, allowing me to stay in my dressing room socially distanced from other customers. She is very good at her job as I came home with clothes I love and upgraded my wardrobe! The manager was great and made sure everyone was honoring the masks and social distancing in a polite and respectful way.This was the first no grocery/pharmacy that I have visited since March; I felt safe and had a wonderful time.”

I walked in on this store to try and see what the staff would advice from the list of shoes that I came up with and the dude i spoke with verified that the Brooks shoe that I was eye-ing was probably the right one for me. He even helped me figure out my proper shoe size and all.”
“Had such a lovely shopping experience at the Whistle Club today! I got the cutest ring and was helped by Marissa - the sweetest person! Not only was she wonderful in helping me with different items, she gave me an entire list of restaurants to try out (all handwritten on a sticky note. So kind). Would totally recommend visiting this beautiful shop!”

“I have been looking high and low for the Vans TRK in a size 6, but these shoes seem to be in high demand. I've been to 3 stores looking for them but what made my experience at the Vans DT SB so great wast they offered to help be buy them online and have them shipped to my address. I should be getting my shoes in 2 days, I'm so excited and greatly appreciated the sales associate's help and the manager Kaelin's help with processing the request! “Here I found the most gorgeous Australian sheepskin seat covers for my Mercedes Sprinter RV, and was so pleased by the effect after the complimentary installation. Australian sheepskin is of a grade that cannot be compared to the cheap stuff; it has made the driving and lounging experience incredibly pleasing. Michael, the proprietor, is a trustworthy and kind man with whom to engage in business affairs. I was so pleased with his service and product selection that I made two more visits that week, finding very unique sheepskin winter boots and a luxurious sheepskin rug. I highly recommend this shop not only for the selection, quality, and fair pricing, but also for the dialogue with Michael, who will certainly have you smiling and contemplating deeply as you drive away on clouds of wool.”

“The staff was incredibly helpful. I popped in to grab a new set of pedals for a bike, and the young guy working in the service dept. had the best attitude and work ethic. They were short staffed that morning due to the Santa Barbara 100 coming up that next day. He was basically working on his own, multitasking like crazy, and handling the work load like an absolute pro. I will be back for sure and will recommend this shop to others.”

“I ordered an XXL Thule cargo box during REI's Labor Day sale and when I went into the store to pick it up, Tyler the manager was there to help. He went above and beyond by not only carrying it out to my vehicle but helping us install it, giving us tips and then throwing away and recycling all the packaging. We had planned on strapping the thing on our roof and getting it home to figure it out but Tyler made it incredibly easy and simple. What a nice surprise and such a helpful manager- REI is lucky to have Tyler in charge, offering such amazing service and setting a wonderful example for his employees. Thank you Tyler!”

“I've never had such a shoe shopping experience. I came in for new running shoes, and got a full foot consultation. The man who assisted me, Tomek, looked at how I stood and walked, and pointed out to me everything that my feet did and how it affected my body. He then explained every single reason he picked out the shoes for me that he did, and how they would realign my body and fix the back and shin pain I've had for years. He then told me to go outside for a run up the street, to really see how they feel, to make sure I was wholly satisfied with them.”
