Clean, inclusive, and safe. I got a second lobe during a guest spot with Lynn Loheide. It healed phenomenally and they were incredibly supportive and I felt very safe during the whole process.

I’ve never left a bad review in my life but I have to for this place. been here multiple times never once had a decent experience. Today is my last time going in, I was the only one in there I was wanting to swap my jewelry and they had me wait 40 minutes when there was 4 workers all just standing talking. They are extremely rude for no reason and when swapping my jewelry it took her so long and she made it extremely painful which I’ve never had happen, not sure if they have any experience but doesn’t seem like it and definitely have no customer service skills

i had an amazing experience while getting it pierced but my nose piercing jewelry fell out about 3 months into the expirence. i went back to their store, bought a new piece of jewelry for $35 and got it changed- less than a week later it fell out again and closed. i was told that i would have to pay $55 to get it repierced and they were unable to give me any discounts or help as it was my fault. considering the fact that i have invested well over $100 into this piercing and it has had continuous problems i am very saddened that they refuse to help me with the faulty piercing and offer a compensation for re-piercing it.

This is my third time and they are SO professional and I had such a good experience. First two times were lobe piercings but this time was a cartilage piercing that I was nervous about but Josh made it so easy and I love how it turned out

I have had nothing but great experiences at Above & Beyond Body Arts. I got my first piercing from Camie, and while I was nervous at first, she made me feel comfortable and the piercing went well. I ended up coming back for more! Josh, the head piercer, has two decades of piercing experience and I trust that he knows what's best for my body.
The studio itself is clean and welcoming, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Their jewelry selection features pieces from reputable brands like BVLA and Anatometal which are all implant grade and high quality.
I highly recommend Above & Beyond for all your piercing and jewelry needs.

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience getting piercings at Above and Beyond. The entire process was smooth and efficient, thanks to their online appointment system. It was user-friendly, and I appreciated the follow-up call to confirm our details.
When we arrived, check-in was a breeze, and the staff member assisting us was friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us choose the right jewelry and decide on the piercing placement. We didn’t feel rushed. Also, the shop is clean and bright.
The actual piercing went extremely well. The piercer (Cami) was not only skilled but also friendly, making us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They maintained a high level of cleanliness and explained everything clearly. And we barely felt it! The post-care instructions were easy to understand and follow.
Now, two weeks later, we are thrilled with our piercings. The placement is perfect, and we are happy with the jewelry we selected. Thank you, Above and Beyond, for providing us with an amazing experience!

Took a 50$ appointment fee just to (rather rudely) tell my friend that her anatomy was wrong for the piercing in about 2 minutes. Understandable if the piercer is uncomfortable with doing the piercing on her but she went back to her regular piercer after and just was told she needed a smaller piece of jewelry. Just overall didn’t really need to be that aggressive with her and also I personally don’t think they should have kept the appointment fee because the time reserved wasn’t used.

I went in to have my nose pierced, and it was the smoothest, most informative experience. All staff was kind and welcoming and eased my nerves. The jewelry options were of the best quality, and they also had a great array of options! Overall, I would high recommend this shop to anyone!

Visited to see out-of-town piercer Lynn Loheide. They were amazing. So knowledgeable and very professional. The shop is very clean, very welcoming. The girl who helped me at the counter was very knowledgeable as well. Definitely recommend

Great experience! The staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions. Very professional and clean. Cami (spelling?) did our piercings and I barely felt a thing and it’s healing nicely. Now I want more piercings! Will definitely be back!

I have been going here for 3 or so years. Almost all my piercings are done at Above and Beyond has never had any issues. Before writing my reviews, I've looked through some of the other complaints from clients, and have some of my own comments and perspective that prospective clients should take into consideration 1. Long wait times. This business is a professional piercing shop. Their wait times accommodate for the sterilization, the preparation, and ensuring the safety and health of the clients and the workers, as well as any needs or concerns that a client may have during their appointment. Waiting 45 minutes is more than worth it. I can understand that waiting a while can be a hassle, but I would rather wait to ensure that everything is properly sanitized, handled, and the piercer feels comfortable and have a bit of cushion time between clients so that they can perform their best. This attentiveness and cleanliness requires patience. This is such a small price to pay for the security of the piercings. As a result, I've always had fantastic results from this place compared to other piercing places who were faster or more "efficient" but cut corners with safety, which then I suffered the consequences in the long run. 2. The perceived rudeness, impatience, and abrasiveness of workers. I understand the perspective most people were coming from, however i think assumptions were made. Those who talked about impatience/rushing or being talked down to, your concerns are valid. I want to take into consideration that if you are a walk in, you cannot be a priority because this place is booked almost fully every single day. At the end of the day, the standard to maintain a business like this is so excruciatingly high. The piercer and workers at the front desk are doing the best they can to ensure the level of professionalism, and working hours and hours at the same standard is exhausting. I could not have done that. I have had almost 9 piercings from above and beyond, and I've seen the place when it's operating at its busiest and at its slowest - and the workers are constantly going between clients, ensuring the sanitization or anoxidization process, and then answering questions from multiple people. Please give compassion to the workers, and be respectful, because I ensure you when you come from a place of respect and patience, they will want to provide you the best experience. 3. The place is expensive and there are better options. Given that the piercing service fee itself is only $50, this is competitive across most of California. The expensive items are usually the jewelry. If you are getting something inside your body, I suggest you go with the highest quality. This is worth splurging for. Above and Beyond's collection of jewelry is spectacular and quality. Besides, there is no other piercers that I would trust to do my piercings except for the piercers here. The level of education and professionalism at Above and Beyond, is quite literally above and beyond. I've met celebrity piercers, and everyone here know exactly what they're doing. They took the time to adjust any needs I may have. I wear cochlear implants, and when I wanted a helix or conch done, they took that into consideration and ensured that my piercing would be accessible even with my medical devices, and also took the time and attention to ensure I understood what they were saying during the piercing process. All of this may have stalled the other clients or walk in- but I appreciate that they took the time with me to make sure I feel comfortable. So take that into consideration if you have a long wait.

Bro tell me why we waited an hour just to change my piercing. There was only one person ahead of us and they went in within 10 minutes of us being there. I gave them my jewelry because my piercing fell out and I couldn't put it back in. 50 minutes within us waiting more, they finally call us in.... Got there at 2 pm, left there at 3. Also payed $10 to change the piercing, which isn't horrible but I expect a little discount for the long wait.
