5 stars isn't enough!!! We just had a company event on Friday and Duo catered for us and I can't express how amazing they are. I mean every single staff member was awesome and please don't let me forget the AMAZING food. Alan was the best he catered to all of our needs and then some. Thank you so much and I can't wait to work with you again.

Let's be honest, event catering is typically (at best) benign. The most you hope for is that the food comes out at a reasonable pace, isn't too cold and/or dry, and that there's enough vino to help you wash it down. But friends, I'm here to tell you that Duo redefines what it means to feed the souls and stomachs of your nearest and dearest. We commissioned Ashley and his talented, professional and friendly team to cater our welcome party and wedding reception for 100 people in November 2021 at Sunstone Winery and Villa in Santa Ynez. My husband and I fancy ourselves to be proficient home cooks in our own right, and we've been fortunate to experience food by some amazing chefs, so we can be obnoxiously opinionated about food. Nevertheless, the tasting dinner Ashley and his team prepared for us was absolutely luscious and perfectly showcased the local, seasonal bounty that the Central Coast has to offer. We enjoyed it so much, that overstayed our welcome, continuing to eat and talk food long into the evening. Even with that prelude, we knew performing at such a high level at scale is another thing altogether, and we checked our expectations for the wedding -- just in case. Yet when the big day came, Duo blew us away again. The brick oven pizzas during the welcome party flew off the trays, and friends rave to this day about the local sea bass, Chicken Marbella and honey glazed carrots served at the reception (oh, how I wish I had photos of those for you -- you'd be able to see how succulent they were). Not to forget: Duo did all of this out of a kitchen that they designed and built outdoors at Sunstone Villa.) Every waiter and waitress that served us was absolutely charming yet professional, and of course, the food that came out of that amazing kitchen hot, timely and plentiful. The Sunstone wines, along with the signature manhattans and elderflower G&Ts that the Duo bartenders mixed up were scrumptious, but they weren't necessary to enjoy these meals! ;-)

This place is BEYOND your dreams , everything here is OFF THE CHARTS, superior hospitality, amazing food, friendly faces, I am welcomed with nothing but love and light here I am always amazed at everything I’ve gotten from the bread to the marinated mushrooms to their cookies and to go food. Especially pickled foods, this place has everything you could ever imagine and never fails to fulfill me in every way when eating out!!! So beyond grateful to have accidentally stumbled into this amazing establishment, I am a forever customer and supporter of this generous place and all the people in it. I’ve never had such a positive experience all the way around, every time. So grateful they exist.

Randomly stopped by this place today and we asked the guy was what good for a beach picnic. He recommended the tapenade and marinated mushrooms. We also picked up some delicious scones. Then of course we saw the wall of hot sauce and pickles and grabbed some of those too. Hot sauce is fresh, fierce, and sweet at the same time. The guy helping us threw in some cookies and marmalade for us too! We had already bought bread from another bakery (Deux) down the street so we just decided to have an feast on the bench outside. If we lived in town, we would be hiring them for any catered event!

Walked past this place and had to turn around when my eye caught something in the food cooler. Proved to be a delicious decision. Picked up several items in the cooler for a quick picnic on the go. Marinated mushrooms and olive tapenade were excellent. Looking forward to a return trip

Love this business. The food is fresh, so delicious, and recipes are creative but simple. They also have been providing meals to families in need since the start of the pandemic, and I've known a handful of families who have gotten fully prepared meals on a regular basis from them, no questions asked. They are a gift to the community. PS their cookies are some of the best I've had PPS their kimchi is also incredible.

I can't say enough about these guys! Every time I try another one of their dinners, I think it's the best version of the dish I've had and it just keeps happening. They have great service and the food is just ridiculously good. Keep up the good work guys!!
