“We have been customers at FRB for nearly 5 years, this is the best bank we have ever had. The team at the SB branch is fantastic! Its not just the service, they truly care, they build a relationship. My 2 year old likes going to bank because of the people (and cookies)! Banking is not a thing I usually write a review about, because most of the time what determines a good institution is interest rates, lending etc. Don't get me wrong FRB does well in these departments but what keeps me here is the personal touch, the kind and caring staff, the way they treat every customer whether they have $2 or $20M. This is by far the best bank in Santa Barbara.”

“Credit Unions tend to be so much more homey and down to earth, and this one fits the bill. The staff are casual yet very knowledgeable and informed and helpful. (Not that it matters but the location is beautiful and so is the building as well) The one problem is the limited number of blue placard (handicapped) parking places, but mainly it is very difficult to get into the front door if you are in a wheelchair or stroller or walker. It is old and not handicap friendly building.”
