Needed some pvc based decking for a small home project. Phil hooked me up with some awesome decking product. I needed some cuts made to the material as it was to long for my suv. He took care of me like I was a great customer. The guys in the yard were polite and helpful. This place has great product, inventory, & customer service. I highly recommend them. And I will b back again.

They have a great selection of various lumber species at good prices. I get most of my hardwood from them for various DIY projects.

Good customer service. Highly recommend this place. Came in to start a new home remodeling job. Came in on a busy day. Was acknowledged immediately and was told that they will help me as soon as they finished with prior customer. The place looks very neat and tidy. Whilst being helped there was a young gentleman. I think his name was Erik. He was patient with all of my husbands questions. We were able to get a quote and an estimated time when our materials would arrive. Would highly recommend this store.

In the span of 15 minutes, I bought and paid for 3 sheets of A1 quality birch, had 15 cuts made, and they were loaded into my car and I was on the road for less than a much lower quality of plywood from Home Depot. AND I’d still be waiting. Thanks ORANGE COAST LUMBER.

EXCEPTIONALLY BAD service. Everyone seemed angry, I'm assuming at each other(?) but seemed like at me, the customer. Last thing I or anyone need right now is to come out of a place of business feeling worse than when we went in. Especially at a place I associate with or at least contains what I use to escape the stresses of life... wood!

I had been driving by Orange Coast Lumber for 15 years when I worked in Santa Ana and never stopped by. After I retired, I decided to build my own deck and after looking at Home Depot and Lowes for materials, I remembered Orange Coast. My wife and I went there and were impressed by the selection of composite deck materials. Carmelo was very helpful in helping us choose the decking and wood for the privacy screen. What was important to me was that the lumber was dry and straight and it was. The prices were more than fair. Will definitely be coming back for my lumber needs.

I went to 5 lumber yards including the Depot and the Lowes. Here is by far best services friendly and helpful staffs especially Jeremy. He sorted out the piece that I wanted and cut it to the sizes that I needed for my floating shelves. Thank you ! Definitely from now I will support small family owned businesses

@patrickberry saying they don't cut circles is a joke right??? Go to home depot and compare how much piece of 16" plywood in a little circle cost, I'll save you the time it's just as much as the 4x8 foot piece of same ply, this is not a craft store so maybe Joanne's is where you should shop. The fact that you gave them 1 star because you didn't get your little circle cut disgusted me so much I had to leave stars based on others recommendations I will be making my first trip to OC Hardware this weekend and I can't wait, you must not know what bad reviews can do to a good company. THE PICTURE IS FOR PATRICK FOR LEAVING 1 STAR BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T CUT LITTLE CIRCLES OUT OF HIS WOOD

I was in need of untreated/non-plywood wood for a project, something I was having difficulty finding elsewhere (Ie. chain stores). I came here solely based on Yelp reviews and I was very pleased with my experience. I don't remember who exactly had helped me, but he was very helpful. I had intended on simplifying my project needs to just a couple of cuts because I figured I could just do the rest at home. However, they were super helpful and able to cut down my pieces to exactly what I needed. I would definitely come back here again for future projects. Not as expensive as I had anticipated either.
