The best meat market anywhere, not the nicest and most attentive staff but they make up for it in quality and taste. The prepared meat is why you need to come here (Chicken is on par too). Very generous portions and cuts, they hook it up most of the time. Grab some fresh tortillas on the way out too.

Best Ranchera meat in all of Santa Ana, hands down!!! It's not cheap but it's worth it!! Their Ranchera Preparada is prepared with a wet marinade not a dry rub, so worth it.

This place is very clean and their customer service is great. Their meat options are fresh and delicious. Recommend the taco meat, they will season for you in just a few minutes if you'd like. This little place is a convenient market with great authentic products. They are our go-to for any special occasion or for a spontaneous family bbq. It's a one-stop shop and again, can't emphasize enough how friendly and professional the owner and the staff are. Love businesses that care for their customers and provide quality products and good pricing like El Faro Meat Market. Thank you!

Their ranchera meat is perfect for grilling! It is seasoned just right and worth the price. The staff are friendly and attentive. It's a smaller market but it carries what you're looking for.

First off let me start off by saying I have NEVER posted a review let alone a NEGATIVE review (just being honest), but felt compelled to share an incident that has happened for the SECOND time. A little background on what happened....pre Covid I experienced an incident where I bought some Beef Jerky that they make in house (beef jerky is EXCELLENT) it's $22 lb. At the register I'm helped by a short Hispanic guy with short curly grey hair...I've seen him work in the produce section as well...he rings me up at $22 even after he puts it on the scale....I question this as I know that I only got a few pieces that shouldn't have reached a lb and why would it be an even number as it is measured to the oz? Sure enough after I requested putting it back in the scale the total came out to be just under $18....he said sorry and rang me up for the right amount. I was disappointed and didn't want to assume the worst so I just let the owner know the next time I visited. Owner is always well dressed in a button up shirt and very polite to customers. Fast forward to today....I haven't been there in a while since the pandemic due to obvious reasons...I come in early in the morning and I see the same guy as let time I had a bad experience. I grab a good amount of jerky from the bin and put it in the plastic bag provided. I hand him the bag, he puts it on the scale on the other side of register with his body blocking it and rings me up for $32. I proceed to walk over to the scale and place the bag on it and it comes out to be exactly $28.97!!!! He immediately nervously says sorry and rings me up for the correct amount. I asked him directly why he did that and he just ignores me with no answer. I'm convinced now that this guy has ripped off countless people here at this shop....people usually pay cash and just do not question the amount being charged becuz why would they? People are not supposed to rip you off. I hope the owner addresses this because your employee is stealing money from people and it is not right!!! Especially during these times!!!!!

Get your Carne asada supplies here. You won't regret it. Get the marinated chicken and marinated ranchera. They have good Tortillas, beer and everything you need to make a salsa.

Carne asada preparada "is to die for" Its the best meat i've tried. If you looking for some good carne asada this is the place to go. It is a lil pricey, but its worth it.
