“Opened an account with OCCU more than 20 some years ago; since then - I've lived in both Boston and Los Angeles - and OCCU is still THE best bank EVER! Ross Street is my home branch. Last year (summer or fall 2023), YARELY went out of her way helping me open an account for my elderly parent - she was warm, hella patient, empathetic and absolutely the person you want working with you through sensitive matters. This weekend, JANET was just the most helpful teller with me and eased me into making a gentle transition into the 21st century re: the OCCU phone app. I wish I could remember the name of the very patient teller who supported me right before Christmas after I'd just been defrauded over the telephone by someone who had spoofed OCCU's phone number (that was a hot mess!). He remained kind and supportive as I squeaked in sad disbelief filling out paperwork. (I'm sorry I don't remember your name - there was some active trauma at the time!) Anyhow, OCCU folks are the real ones for customer support. If only the rest of the world could get their act together like OCCU...love this place!”

“Had to use the 17th street Santa Ana branch a few times and on multiple occasions was fortunate enough to get help from Dominique Abadiness. Rarely does someone go so far above and beyond as she has. Between her fast typing, diligent reviews and thoughtful guidance, she is on it! She even typed up and printed a series of wire transfer request forms, without me even asking, because she knew it would save me time and possibility of error. If you go here and need a new account or wire transfer, ask for Dominique... trust me.”

“When I come into SAFCU, I am always treated with respect and I dont have to wait. But when I had a problem with my credit card and tried to report it on the toll free number, I was waiting on a call loop and never got any help. I think it is important to be able to reach someone right away to report a problem, such as a stolen card or fraud. I really think there is room for improvement in this area.”

“This is a small BofA where it has ATM's and places where you can go to talk to bank personnel via video conferencing. It gives you an option to do your banking without having to go to a regular bank branch. I come here all time for my withdrawals or deposits. It is not 24 Hrs as it does close around 11 PM, but it open at 6 AM and you don't have to be outside to get your money. Last, you can only access entry if you have a bank card as it has security doors that give a bit increased security as someone can just walk up to you and rob you.”
