“Seriously the BEST beef jerky I've ever had, HANDS DOWN! Everyone who tastes it freaks and now I have to hide it from my guests! Its fresh, so tender and tastes great! I've always loved jerky but had issues with how TOUGH it was, this stuff is briskett so its SOFT and melts in your mouth! My go-to JERKY for life. You can order online @ bulkbeefjerky.com or go to the shops in Long Beach or San Pedro. They also have a shop in Johnson, TX where its made! YUM...check them out.”

“I've been a honorary San Pedroan for 23 years now. I've been coming to A1 for 22 of those years for many things specialty items that can't be found anywhere else. With the loss of the last owner Emmedio, may he rest in heaven, I was unsure what the future held for my Precious A1 imports. We have brand new wonderful owners that have taken it to a new level with prices remaining virtually the same. It is a wonderful friendly family oriented store whether you're Italian Croatian or just human. Pizza dough, a to die for fish section just in time for Seven Fishes for Christmas! The new owners are kind and friendly. Best Deli Section, fresh cut meats by the great butcher that makes Cevapcici from scratch seasoned to perfection, customer service is impeccable. Though I miss the old owners, the new ownership is Amazing! Do yourself a favor and a treat by stopping by for a hot or cold sandwich, anything your heart desires. I would post a picture of the huge eggplant sandwich I got yesterday but I ate it before I thought about it! Next time!”

“Good liquor store! My only issue is that they don’t have various sizes (smaller) of popular liquors that other stores do carry. Otherwise no complaints and they take EBT. Always easy to park???!”

“Used to come here all the time during the Summers when I was a kid. Used to walk here with my cousins or my uncle when they would give beer and I would buy packs of Mamba fruit juice. Old school little neighborhood market, gotta love it”

“I came back to this Albertsons since I heard the old meat manager was gone!! The meat department smelled bad when he was there that’s why I stopped shopping at this location. I just didn’t trust buying any items from the meat department!!! My mother had to go pick up a few items from produce and found out the old meat manager was gone . So i decided to go see if the meat department had changed . The new meat manager keeps the meat department super clean and it doesn’t smell anymore!!!! I was helped by him I believe his name was Jesus he was really helpful and gave my husband good tips on grilling. My husband and I will continue to shop at this location because of the meat department manager !! He was super friendly and very good customer service!!!”

“Von's, at Gaffey Street, San Pedro, California, is located between 13th Street and 12th Street.Von's used to be very reasonable on food, meats, fish, chicken, vegetables, fruits, dairy items, juices, etc. But now the prices went up so high just like everywhere else. For that reason, I can only shop here for few items and shop somewhere else for other items I need in the house.Their bathroom stuff are more expensive now, too. I only buy them here when they're on sale.Von's has a pharmacy for anyone needing to fill a prescription or vaccinations.I like their Starbuck Coffee. I sometimes, stop their once in a while, for coffee while I am in the area.Von's has a big parking lot for every shopper, plus a special parking for disabled personal, in the front of the store. There is also handicapped accessible doors in the front.”

“Both the laundry mat and this store are always so clean. The gentleman that works inside is always smiling and just pleasant to patronize. No attitudes when asking for change for change for laundry, you do have to go to the store for the key in the laundry but it’s to keep the bathroom clean.”

“This grocery has everything you would expect; food, drinks, bread, and a pretty good-sized alcohol section. I recently went here and was able to get dog food, pick up my prescription at the pharmacy, and grab a coffee at Starbucks. This is a very nice store with a convenient location for me but I will say the prices are a bit high”

“I come here when im craving sushi, i grew up on county aid most of my life so Ralphs along with a couple other market chains were considered markets for the rich, well today im not rich but i could afford some sushi once in awhile, and also great sales draw me to Ralphs. Happy Shopping!”

“This store caters to the Latino community and everyone else that appreciates authentic ingredients for their cooking. We went by for white tortillas which've been shrinkflationed and priced up at large corporate markets across town. Like, $3.00 for 10, 8" inch tortillas, not even a dozen! Walked into the Numero Uno market and the tortilla display had stacks of 2 dozen tortilla packs for $3.49!!! We got our torts and went on to finish our errands. Tortillas aren't luxury food items. Why they're priced so high is ridiculous!!!”

“Although my card was compromised, I had the best experience last night at target. Target team members, Maddie and Nate actually took the time to try and help me. And it was not just five minutes. Maddie was especially helpful as she tried to call the 800 number for me. I just want to give a big shout out and a thank you to Maddie and Nate at the target in San Pedro.!”
