Horrible customer service. So rude!
I called the store to ask some questions about some of their items and they treated me so disrespectfully that I regretted calling them. They even hung up on me! Comparing to Crate & Barrel, their customer service is just terrible!

DO NOT TRUST THEIR TIMELINE PROMISES!So, I went and bought a table, bench, and some chairs from this place. But man, it's been a LETDOWN.They told me, verbally and in confirmation email, the table and bench would arrive by late January, with custom chairs coming in May. Briana, the salesperson, even said she'd sort me out if there were any problems, making it seem like buying in-store was the way to go.But now it's March, and guess what? NO table, NO benches. The table's just chilling at some delivery spot, waiting for the chairs that might not show up until June. It's messed up.If I'd known about all these delays, I wouldn't have bothered buying here. So, folks, just make sure you're crystal clear on everything before you hand over your money at this joint.UPDATE: Table and chairs arrived on Apr 13

Walked in because I was watching a movie next door. Immediately the sales team looked down on me because I was a person of color. I asked some question to sale associate(Caucasian male) he replied with attitude. He belittled me. I will never shop at West Elm ever again. I will spread the word!

Very cosy I get in the display beds and they are very comfortable. My only bad thing is how they dont clean there vases because me and my friend put trash in there and it’s still there 6 months later. Finally, they need to clean there sheets because I saw a baby piss in a display bed and the west elm staff flipped the sheets and tucked the whole situation under the carpet

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I ordered a modern lounger for my daughter on Sept 1. I have called so many times to get an update on the delivery and I have left my name and number for someone to get back to me and no one has called me back at all. today, I finally spoke with someone but I still got horrible service. They were unsure about the date or the status of the delivery of the chair. They do not follow through and they have a horrible customer service over the phone. I will not recommend this place to my family or friends and I am definitely going to stop shopping here.

I visited here around 4:30pm on September 21st. As I walked in I was not greeted or acknowledged whatsoever. As he's watching me look at the furniture he says "people think this is an ikea" while talking on the phone with someone. Not sure what this man's problem was but he gave off the worst vibes ever!! 0 stars for this man. I would've bought something but his customer service was horrible I said forget it.

I would not recommend coming to this West Elm Branch, the one in Palo Alto is friendlier. We’ve come here and made multi purchases, but most of the employees (not all) have consistently shown us negative demeanor and attitude through their facial expression, speech, and willingness to assist. (I.e. there has always been a feeling that we were inconveniencing them by being customers)
