I wish I could give Twin Oaks a better rating, but my experiences have been frustrating and concerning. After my previous vet closed their business, I decided to give Twin Oaks a try. Unfortunately, my dog had an allergic reaction to a vaccine during her first visit, something that had never happened with our previous vet. I tried to overlook it, thinking it might be a coincidence.
However, the same issue occurred again, and another visit, they didn’t administer Benadryl before the shot. Now, for the third time, they gave her the vaccine without any premedication. It’s incredibly disheartening that this continues to happen. Don't they write this in the charts or they just want to charge extra when you have to run back with the dog having a reaction and leaving her there for hours !!
You might wonder why I haven’t switched vets yet—it's because I haven’t found another clinic that takes appointments when needed or answers the phone in a timely manner.
I genuinely hope that Twin Oaks can improve their protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of our pets.

We have been happy clients of Dr. Weinberg/Twin Oaks Animal Hospital for more than five years now. We think she's the best vet we've ever been lucky enough to have. This isn't some terrible chain clinic where the main thing vets are taught is how to pad the bill (and there are lots of those out there). Her personal attention to detail and her dedicated staff offer the best care possible for our dog. I simply cannot recommend he highly enough. And I do so all the time.

We’ve been visiting twin oaks for 2 years now with our golden retriever. They are extremely friendly and very clean facility. We called for anxiety meds for our dog on a long road trip and they were able to help us out and call in a prescription in a different state. Prices are competitive with other vets and you never wait long to be seen.

I love Dr. Watanabe and the staff here and have been coming here for yearly checkups the last 3 years with my cat. They're all super nice and accommodating. She is great with cats, I'm not familiar with the other vets or any dog care here. With my cat, she's great - they offer 3 year vaccines here for rabies and distemper, took the usual stool sample with results the next day, and blood tests on site, etc. They also have you in the room with your pet (other vets still have covid policies where you just drop your pet off which is NOT ok with me). I'm hopeful that if there was a serious problem with my cat that they'd be equipped to handle the situation.

Liked Dr. Adams. Their website advertised at 50% off exam fee for new patients. I asked when I made the appointment if we would be considered new, since I had been there before, but not this cat. I was told that the visit would be considered a new patient. I also asked in the exam room and the nurse applied it to the estimate, which I then signed. When I went to leave and pay, the receptionist said it didn't apply. Terrible customer service. Thinking about not returning. Watch out if this may apply to you.

When - I first went there - really liked them/her - it was just Vet Weinstein - thennnnn - they hired "someone" to help "grow the biz". From there everything just fell apart -soooo expensive, of course, horrid service, pricing off the charts - do yourself a favor go somewhere else - they are now about the money and definitely not about your fur baby!!!!

I take my two Danes and my Beagle mix here and will probably continue forever. The front desk staff is always helpful and Dr. Weinberg always takes the time to answer all of our questions and address all of our pups needs. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this vet. Not so much the doctor’s fault, but the remainder of the staff. Everyone seems to give different information which is frustrating. We live in Spring valley, and when I was searching for a vet for my new puppy who needed to keep on schedule with vaccines, I had a hard time finding a vet close to home. Twin oaks has good reviews, so we chose here.My puppy had one course of treatment for Giardia, to which the pharmacist/ nurse did not fill up two of the vials of medication all the way. When picking up the medication originally they did not give much education as to anything else to do other than to give the medication once a day after eating.I called two weeks after she had finished the medication, and the receptionist indicated they will check the stool again 4 weeks after the last dose of medication (my first time hearing this). I had called because my puppy was still having symptoms of having had Giardia. To which the doctor had called and said my dog had two courses of the medication already (which she hadn’t, I had to come get a refill on two vials of medication). They said she could also get GI pet food which could help the symptoms. When I called Monday at 8am, the receptionist I spoke with said they had the food in stock. I clarified that I was driving from spring valley, and also wanted to see if the doctor wanted her to have a second dose of the medication.I called back at 11 as I hadn’t heard back, to which this receptionist said they did not have the food in stock, that I could pick up a prescription for it, and that they would fill the Giardia medication to be ready for pick up on 01/08.I come in to pick up the medication 01/09, which they claimed to have filled yesterday, along with the written prescription, and nothing is ready. And they have the GI pet food…It’s very unfortunate as the staff and doctor are very friendly and kind, it is just so unorganized I do not want to continue using this vet.I’ve never written a negative review in my life. I’m a very understanding person. However there has been an issue with every encounter I’ve had at this vet, which is stressful ontop of having a new puppy with Giardia.

Dr Weinberg is amazing. She’s so kind and gives the best care to our dog. The staff is wonderful. This is not the corporate experience you get at other vets. We highly recommend Twin Oaks for your pets!

Ridiculous unprofessional staff here. Initially we brought our dog here as a puppy. The staff would do things like ask to weigh her but not record, or even remember (airhead katie) their weight in order to add it to her chart... if you want to hold the puppy, just ask. We would be kept waiting for our scheduled appointments for an hour past scheduled visits and they GROSSLY over charge. Other places charge $35 for visit, they charge $70... just as an initial example. Patience is also rude over the phone, if you ask a reason for something she will pause and say "uhhmm because that's the way we do it" in a condescending voice telling you you're stupid, instead of being a professional and giving a proficient reason like any other place I called, who will be twice as nice in half the time and half the price. Stuck up bad staff and no concept of time, weird for scheduled visits.
