Absolutely the best carnitas burrito in all of California! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I come almost twice a week to get burritos from here. Place is always super clean with such a variety of different meats they offer.

Please bring back the Friday taco special! I went in the other week to get their awesome street tacos . On Friday they were .99 cents. The special is no longer and the regular price is $2.49 we each. We're talking the small 3" street tacos. It's hard to justify $2.49 for a minimal 3" taco! I won't be going back because one can pay that much for a much bigger and better taco.

I would say that I'm a regular customer. When I go to Patron Meat Market, it's usually to buy beef (to grill carne asada), chicharrones, or to buy the fresh, warm tortillas from La Fe. I also love, love the flour tortillas that they make. They are the best! If you go right around the time they're made, you're in for a treat. They're warm, buttery and super delicious. Sometimes, I just go there to buy the tortillas. I usually buy 2or 3 packages and I freeze them for later use. During hot days, I'll buy their special flavored "aguas frescas" or their Jarritos drinks. The staff are super friendly and although this market is a bit small for the amount of items they sell, I don't mind. The music is usually very loud, but again I don't mind. It's part of what makes this little market different from the regular big-chain food stores. Give this little market a try!!

Too expensive!!! They won't disclose prices for burritos, tacos and food and when you order the people preparing your order, never ask if you would like to take some salsas with your order to go...and the worst thing would happen next when you get to the cashiers and find these bunch of horribly rude girls charging you around $12 for a miserably prepared burrito and they would not even offer you a bag to carryout your order...the worst of the worst on every aspect...I'm sure some competition will soon come up and wipe these abusive

I went to the Patron Market in San Marcos Ca (on San Marcos Blvd) on the evening of 10/1/22. I purchased only 6 items, which included fresh carne asada that was $15 (and change). At the check out counter the lady was on the phone the entire time of my transaction. Not once did she say hello or make eye contact with me or my husband. Prior to paying, the total amount on the register was $37.00 (and change), then the total changed to $52 and change. She quickly took my husband's debit card and immediately threw away the paper receipt. She did not offer me a copy of MY receipt. I didn't question the charge, but when I returned home and added up the items it was apparent that she charged me twice for the carne asada. Purposely?!?! I WILL never return to the Patron market in San Marcos Ca and I advise anyone who shops there to watch the checkers closely. I will definitely not recommend this market to ANYONE!!!!

Now it's named Patron. We always get our meat there because they have all different kinds of meats like milanesa, carnitas, and chicken to bbq. They also have the best horchata or other fruit drinks like cucumber or pineapple. Great spicy salsas like salsa Rojo (Red) the spice's salsa in town.

It was the best pollo burrito I have ever! It was huge, under $10. I don't know what to say. I had a pollo burrito minus beans and it was the most tender chicken.

I always liked coming to this market but today was a disappointment! I bought a chicken cause it truly looked nice and fresh but little I knew when I got go home to cook it it smelled sooo bad ! I had to drive back from Carlsbad to San Marcos to get my money back . I usually wouldn't but this chicken cost $20 buck and especially when times are so hard right now . So when I got there I told the cashier and what had happen she didn't even say sorry and gave me the money back ! I asked if they took the other chicken out and she say yes so I walk back to the meat dept. And can you believe they still had it! I told the guy there and just laughed . I told him like really people are going to get sick but I guess they don't care about the customer.

Quality has declined in veggies and fruits. Meats are good. I bought a big pack of turkey or chichen sausages and they were expired.
