“Was travelling the length of the PCH and ending up with a damaged rear tire, Chris was waiting for me to arrive with the tire from a nearby retailer ( CycleGear delivered by SLOPD who happened to be in the store!!), installed and balanced the tire and had me back on the road by the time I ate a burger!!! We did not have the tool to lower our spare, so towing could not change out tire...he aired us up, followed us and called ahead to an almost closing Big Brand Tire!! They welcomed us and fixed the nail punctured tire for us just before closing for no cost!!! Thank you to the nicest, BUSY, attendant AMIR. “Very thorough communicative been very happy with the service. The only reason I give 4stars is because once (I’ve used them several times) I had to have a new exhaust and cat installed. They quoted me $3200 I bought the part from the same distributor for $1800 (they probably get it for less) and had it installed at a muffler shop for $300. They do an amazing job but I guess it left a bad taste in my mouth. You can have it good, fast, or cheap never all three.”

All I asked was to put air in the tire but they recommended that I had the tire checked. After repairing the tire I drove back home 3 hours to OC with a peace of mind and a repaired, safe tire. “The staff was very helpful when I went in for a minor warranty issue on my LLumar paint protection film. They could’ve easily told me it was just a maintenance issue that was my problem. Instead, they spent about three hours of staff time taking care of it without a complaint. The Lumar product is terrific. Little Scratches are easily rubbed out. Our SUV has about 55,000 miles on it now and usually by this time it would be covered in small scratches. We basically have none!”
“I've used Erickson's 3 or 4 times, most recently for a major project to stop oil seepage on the underside of my 32-year-old Toyota MR2. Colter was great to work with as he undertook the necessary repairs and, also, new spark plugs, put in a new timing chain and (I believe) a water pump in the process. Great job overall! I highly recommend Erickson's.PS: I notice a negative review regarding truck rentals. Not positive but I believe that's a different enterprise on the same multi-vendor premises.”

“I brought in my SUV in which a dent in the side door. I had gotten quotes from other body shops, some were quoting me over $4,000 to have the dent repaired. At minimum, the other shops were quoting me $2000. The shops were recommending very invasive methods to repair the dent that seemed unreasonable. I was super stressed over the high cost and I went to Rainbow for one last quote. John looked at the dent and quoted me $1300. He explained the estimate and the repair process clearly to me which I appreciated. John was kind and I didn't feel pressured to make a decision at the time. My car was fixed within a week and looked brand new. Two years later, it still looks great!”
“My family and I have been taking our Toyotas to Chuck for almost 20 years. He's worked on all 5 cars that I have owned in my lifetime and never once has there been any sort of problem whatsoever. He tells you exactly what's up with your car and never tries to sell you something when you don't need it right away.Honest mechanics can be difficult to find,Chuck will have my business for as long as he stays open. Cannot recommend enough.Random tip: If you're calling to make an appointment the shop is closed for lunch daily 12-1. Just try again during normal hours or there is a voice message with instructions how to text for scheduling, they got back to me within the day on my most recent visit.”
