My name is Bud East and wrote a review around 3 weeks ago. I had stated in that review that i was unhappy with the way Sergio had my truck for a few days and had not done any work on it. We have made amends and i am very happy to have him back as my mechanic. There is no doubt that Sergio is one of the best mechanics' in the field. My truck has the 6.7 liter engine and it need a lot of work. Sergio repaired my truck and it runs better than when i purchased it. I am very happy that Sergio contacted me to work our differences out. I really wanted to stay with his service. Sergio is very busy working plus he is a family man. This time around i plan on making sure i give him enough time to work on my truck. He is a very honorable man. Bud East

BEWARE!!!!*****DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT !!!!!!!take your vehicle to this place I took my Jetta Volkswagen to this place because because my engine light turned on. They ran a few test and said I needed to get something fixed to my engine which cost me $3000 plus I paid for an alignment. Within 24 hours the engine light was back on and the supposed alignment was never done. Called them and they told me it will cost more to fix the light. So at home I did some research and everyone said to check the gas cap first bought a 25 dollar gas cap and guess what!! THE LIGHT WAS OFF. Took my car to a different place and was told my alignment was never done. IMPACT AUTO MOTIVE IS THE WORST PLACE THAT CHARGERS YOU LOTS OF MONEY AND DOESN’T EVEN FIX THE CAR.Service: Auto engine tuning

If you need an honest , qualified mechanic , you will be very happy with Oscar Mendoza. I have brought different cars to them for various services, (2002 Mercedes E 430 ,SUV 2002 Lexus LX 470 and 2019 Mercedes SLC 300). I am very happy to say that they do an amazing job. Best auto experience I've ever had!I drive a school bus converted into a tiny home. 2000 GMC Savanna with 20k original miles.I originally took it to West Escondido Automotive (find my horrid review for them on Google and yelp) and absolutely regretted it. In short, they said it was going to cost 12k for routine maintenance and some other stuff...I said no, but my fuel system did need to be updated and replaced, so we moved forward with just that job...Once they finished, They did not check it before giving me my bus back and the sending unit was defective. My bus broke down and I had to have it towed back to West Escondido... A week later west escondido claimed the fuel bleed air valve was leaking air into my tank. I had just gotten in contact with Impact Auto to explain the situation. They were very honest and concerned about the other shops diagnostics. They thought they were charging too much and were skeptical of the now "leaking" valve that would cost me $320 to replace.I told West Escondido to fix my sending unit and give me my bus. I took it to Impact Auto and within a few hours they did a full check of my vehicle, to find similar findings, but DID NOT find that valve leaking. The other auto shop had lied, did not properly check my vehicle before returning and tried to upcharge like crazy.Impact Auto almost did the entire laundry list of things needed for 4k in a super timely manner. They sent updates, pictures, had reliable recommendations and included labor on several projects to offset the cost. Will be my go to shop on the west cost.Thank you Sergio and Oscar.

Excellent service. Very knowledgeable staff. I brought in my old 1965 Ford to get the engine rebuilt, they did a fantastic job. Yair, Oscar and the rest of the team were exactly what my truck needed to run like new again. Highly recommend this establishment.

Received a referral from a local tow truck driver to Impact. Have had the 2003 high-mileage Corolla serviced here twice, once for a new starter, and yesterday for a brake job and oil change. Oscar was my contact at Impact and he was GREAT. Friendly, gave me a great quote, stayed in communication with me -- an all-around great experience. I highly recommend Impact.
