Very good people and service... I came here did a smog test yesterday very fast and caring with good price. Today I got the new plate but found the bolts on my license plates stripped, I stopped by and they helped me resolved the issue and put my new license plate. It took a little while as the bolts broken inside, and took some effort. I insisted to gave the gentleman some money but he refused saying this is a free for me... thank you sir, bless your business and your family.

I had a great experience getting our car smog checked here. They were quick (10 minutes), very kind, and safe (everyone wore masks). They even helped us back out into Monterey. I'm not sure what happened 1-4 years ago, but I recommend going to Y2K for a smog check.

I was rear ended in my Mercedes and was told by the person who rear ended me that his car was being repaired at this shoo and we did not go through our insurance co. He was to pay for all damages. So I took my car down and at first it seemed to be a legit shop. In fact when it came to painting my bumper the worker sprayed a small area on my car that was not damaged in the accident (it just needed to be sprayed) and the guy sprayed it free of charge. I thought that was pretty nice. After a week of driving a rental car my car was ready to be picked up. Within 2 weeks I noticed the bumper where I had been hit, the crack in my bumper was back. So I took it back down to the shop and the worker apologized and said he would be happy to make right. Second time around and second car rental, I went to pick my car up and everything looked good. So, I drove down about a block to grab some lunch and when I got out of my car I went to lay my coat in the back seat. As I opened the back door I noticed grease (like thick bearing grease) on the inside of my door and I looked around in my backseat and someone had pulled my backseat out and the latch that secures the seat in was broke and laying on my floorboard and the seat was all crooked and not put back the way it had been when I took it to them. There was also dark grease/dirt marks on the carpet where the person didn't lift their feet up high enough to get into the back. Clearly they scraped their foot along the inside trim and carpet of my cream colored upholstery. I was pissed to say the least. So I immediately took it back to the shop and as I was showing the guy who came out to my car what I was not happy with, a older man came over and started wiping the upholstery and carpet. After explaining there was no reason someone should have been in my backseat of my car the one worker said nobody had been in my car. Clearly the marks were there to prove it and my seat had been taken out and then they tried to put in back in and broke the latch on the seat and just left it all caddywhompus. The guy who ran the shop took the broken latch and said he would replace the part once he ordered it but I never heard from them. Here it is 3 months later and the bumper has cracked again probably from the cold weather and I refuse to take it back to them a third time!!!! Bad company!!!!!! The only reason I gave 2stars was because they painted a small part of my door free of charge. Otherwise I would rate them 0 stars!!!! I

Don't go for smog check. They are running a scam. They will intentionally fail your smog check and then try to rip you off to fix it.

SCAM ALERT! I have a legal after market catalytic converter and took it here for smog check. The man at the front told me he can smog me right now. Then proceeded to fail my car and Mark it as tampered in the official online system. Now I can't get my car smogged unless I wait for it to clear. He referred me to another place that wanted to charge me 250 to pass... There was no reason for him to fail my legal after market cat, so this place seems very sketchy. Do not recommend!
