Unless you are Mexican I don't encourage you to go there. Worst customer service experience ever. Twice men went ahead of me and pretended not to understand English. Cashier said it's ok, both times when I told them I was next in line. Won't spend another dime!

This is the second time I've been here, I was so excited to see that there was one near where my husband sees his barber. First time we bought a lot, ceviche, salsa, chicarrón, pan dulce and even hit up the taqueria area they had kids plates it was great. We went by today because the last time we came and bought pan dulce my son ate the whole bag and the rest of the household didn't get a bite. And some other small items. I bring bags because 1. I hate paying the fee lol and 2. I want to help save the world one bag at a time. My son was holding the bag and NORMALLY the cashiers ask if I want a bag and I'll just say no. Well this cashier assumed i wanted to be charged a bag. I had put my card in and already paid before she finished ringing everything up and then proceeded to bag my stuff in the store bag. I said oh no I don't want a bag and she said too late I already charged you. So obviously I got upset and I said you didn't even ask. There was no apology, she said I'll just give you your money back. But that's not the point it just makes me feel like how many other people have been charged without knowing and even then they tax you for that stupid bag I just saw the receipt. I don't know if I want to go back if I have to be watching every step and making sure that I'm being charged correctly.

Going to give a 5 star because the food is good. But the register workers and cooks need a better POS system to communicate. You literally have to repeat what you ordered at least 3 times after you already ordered just so they get the order correct. You guy's got this step it up. I live on Main St so this is the new spot... get it together.

SUJEYLI should not be helping customers. She is extremely rude. She does not care about the customer experience and could careless if she ruins someone's day. If she tries to help you ask for someone else.

This store has a small variety of everything that you could possibly need for home and everyday meal planning. Their prices are very reasonable and they regularly offer sales and specials that can save you a fair amount of money. Their inventory is always well stocked and regularly rotated, always ensuring that you get the freshest quality products throughout the day. Their employees work quickly with long lines and are always more than willing to help with any questions that you may have, so that you get exactly what you need.

We ordered catering for 30 people for my son's birthday. Price was $9.99 pp. Included 3 meats (we got carne asada, al pastor and pollo asado). It also came with rice, beans, warm tortillas, pico de gallo, salsa verde, salsa rojo and chips. The food was a hit with our guests. Good option if you don't have enough headcount for taco cart / truck and are willing to pick up. The taco toppings like onions, cilantro, limes and radish we just bought there since it's a grocery store. Prices of a la carte trays are included in my pics too. It is authentic as the taqueria staff speaks Spanish and got someone from the back to help us with our order form in English.

Small variety but convenient, more expensive than other big groceries but understand because it's a small mom and pop grocery. I love coming here for their tacos! The breakfast tacos are my absolute favorite and so delicious! I love the chorizo! Their regular tacos are amazing as well!

Si pudiera dar Zero estrella esa sería mi opinión. I normally don't like posting reviews negative reviews but in this case I must! 1: I have noticed that items list one price at shelves and at time of check out items are between $1.50 -2.50 over than what's listed. 2 : Cashiers seem to always be in a bad mood and are very rude. I always hear cursing in Spanish very inappropriately! (Extremely inappropriate!) 3 : Meat department has some guys that do a good job serving people. But! Some can be very lazy and do not care about the clients .

I can not believed finding decompose produce at the fruits stands. I request to speak to the floor manager, rather one of their employees got upset and almost told me to leave the store. It was not a very pleasant experience. Therefore, my rating for this stored is low and will not shop again.. No quality and poor customer Service

I was working on Lincoln Ave early one morning and caught a really good aroma that made me curious. My coworker asked what kinda burrito I wanted out of being spontaneous so I went with my usual al pastor. He came back with a brick wrapped in aluminum foil. This burrito was loaded with fresh ingredients and as long as my forearm. Instead of guacamole they use quarters of Avocado and I wont be the one to complain about it lol. The al pastor had good seasoning, no pineapple chunks but I prefer it without. I wouldnt drive from home to eat here but id go a few miles for this burrito again. Also the market is fairly clean and has a super old country market vibe.

Great store with several selection of items. Tamales are good but a bit dry. The guacamole sauce is fantastic.

Arteaga's is now my main store! Goodbye Lucky, Safeway and the rest of you! These folks know their customer service. As a Black/Native American... I feel much more welcome to shop there. The people here treat everyone with respect and friendliness! And the store is very clean and always stocked!

If I can leave a zero star, I would definitely leave it but sadly there's no chance in doing that. This place is so unprofessional and the manager doesn't know how to handle customers needs. My mom shopped at this store location on Christmas Eve (12/24/2020). My mom slipped in the store because some customer spilled liquid and no staff had the audacity to clean it at that moment or even put up a sign saying "wet floor". My mom spoke to the manager and asked to file a claim or case. The rude manager said that it was out of her hands and that if my mom wanted an ambulance she would have to pay out of her own pocket because it wasn't there fault. When my mom slipped right after the employee cleaned immediately. My mom went home since it was Christmas Eve and the holidays made things harder for us to get a hold of anyone such as a lawyer and store manager from this store location. Every time we call this store location nobody picks up. We are trying to limit our outdoor exposure because of covid but surely enough my mom and I will go into the store in person today and get this situation handled. My moms knee and back are in so much pain and she experienced some nodules to her legs when she slipped. I will be back to edit this post with managers information and how she will go about to handle this because if she doesn't act up on this I will get a lawyer and make sure this manager gets fired!
