Date of Visit: 01/23/2024 PMI visited this UPS Store location to get a document notarized, expecting a standard, professional service. Unfortunately, what I encountered was the sole employee self-identified as Dave, whose conduct was anything but professional.Upon presenting my document, which had a clearly marked section for notarization, Dave seemed perplexed and asked, "What am I supposed to do?" When I suggested the routine procedure of me signing my part and him signing his, I mentioned that I was hoping for guidance from him as a notary, given my lack of regular experience with notarizations. His response was, "I won't sign that document, but will sign a separate sheet with my notarization."Confused, I asked, "In that case, what is the linkage between your notarization and this document? And what prevents people from using your notarization for a different document?" Instead of providing a clear explanation, Dave simply retorted, "You are not supposed to do that. I am not signing that sheet."When another customer arrived, I decided to step aside to do my research rather than hold up the line. As I was looking up information on my phone, Dave, seemingly offended, said in a hostile manner, "You can try other places. Have a nice day." The sarcasm was palpable, and his demeanor was unprovoked and uncalled for. After educating myself on the proper linkage between loose certificates and the intended document, I returned to the counter, ready to proceed with the notarization based on correct procedures. To my astonishment, Dave declared in a victorious tone, "I won't do it anymore because you are sketchy."When I asked for clarification, he accused me of potentially using the notary for other documents. I assured him that this concern was purely theoretical. Yet, with a smirk, he refused service, saying, "You look sketchy to me, and I won't do it for you. Have a nice day."I am a mid-aged professional, and to be dismissed with such a baseless and subjective accusation is not only insulting but also discriminatory. Dave's refusal to provide service, coupled with his unwarranted personal judgment, is a clear indication of the abysmal customer service provided at this UPS Store location.I am deeply disappointed and cannot recommend this location to anyone. A notary public should assist and guide customers through the process, not belittle and deny them service with flimsy excuses. It’s regrettable that a simple transaction was made so unpleasant due to the attitude and behavior of this employee.Final Recommendation: Seek services elsewhere if you wish to be treated with respect and professionalism.

Been using this store for over a year. Not sure why other reviews are bad, maybe racists? The workers are quite nice. As are the owners.

Never Ever go to this location –Worst customer service experience ever had in my life. I wish I could give them 0 star. This happened on 1st October, 2023 between 2:15 PM and 3:00 PM PST. We had to return 2 packages from Amazon. One was big box (we didn’t even open the package) and another package with very small box (around 5”x3”x2” – It has a water pump). Originally, we went to return to Bird Ave location but door was closed (around 2 pm) though sign said it’s open. I looked up on Google map for another UPS location and closest one was Winchester. Though I was skeptical as it has 2.0 rating but we had to only drop the boxes, so I didn’t care much.Once we reached at the store, we brought both packages to the first counter from entrance. Hana Dave (working at that time) said she said she can’t take the packages since packaging for bigger box is damaged. She sounded very very rude and arrogant. I told her that this is how UPS delivered it to us and we didn’t even open the package. After that she said you can tape and buy tape for $6.99 or you can take it to another UPS store & she can’t help further. Upon checking we found amazon’s policy for return.“The UPS Store will pack, label, and ship your return for free. Just bring the item in its original manufacturer’s packaging and disassemble the item (if applicable). We'll email you a QR code to ship your return. Show it to a store associate at any The UPS Store.”I saw one open tape roll on the counter and requested her as courtesy if we can use the tape and return the box. She said very bluntly – “Sir as I told you already tape is $6.99. You can buy tape or take it to another store”. This sounded very rude. My wife bought the tape from next store and we put the tape on the box. I guess she didn’t like it and said she can’t take the package anymore. Upon requesting she said she has right to refuse to service and told us to take it to another store. We felt very humiliated at that point. We decided to leave and in process to putting the box in the car, I forgot the small box (water pump) on counter itself.Once we reached to another UPS location (Steven creek) I realized that I left the one packaging at the previous UPS location. I drove back to UPS location and asked Hana that we left our package on the counter. This is her first word “I don’t know why you guys keep coming back”. She said there is no package left. I was very surprised by her reply. There was no other place I went to and I remember package was left on the counter only. I am sure this is all recorded in the camera. My advice, never ever go to this store. I have read other customer reviews and not surprised why this store has 2-star rating that is also with 103 reviews. Most of the reviews are 1 star that is also because we don’t have option of giving 0 star.

Wish I could give 0 stars!! They can’t even tape your package for you despite the return instructions saying they will take care of everything. And they have the audacity to ask you to buy tape for $6.99 or drive back home all the way and tape up your package and come back. NEVER go here!! Worst experience ever!!

Honestly don’t get all the negative reviews on this store. I’ve always been treated promptly and cordially here, whether I need to return Amazon packages or use their notary service. Yes there’s no chit chatting going on but who cares? I like to use as little time as possible and be mindful of their time as well. Thank you for being here!

I brought in a small package to mail. After that transaction, I let the associate know I had box in the car I'd like to ship-- I asked if I brought it in, could I weigh it to get an estimated cost? I also shared I'd be transferring the contents of the box into a new box (as the existing box was torn). The associate said yes, tho advised me the cost is dependent on destination, weight, and box dimensions -- so she would need the dimensions of the new box. No problem! I had already purchased the new box and would go to my car and grab everything so that we can weigh and determine cost.I returned moments later with original box + new box and we proceeded to weigh using the dimensions of the new box (16x16x16). I was given some shipping choices and selected the option that worked best for me. With that, I simply needed to place the contents of the old box into the new box. Here's where things got really distasteful -- I asked if they provided shipping tape to seal my new box, or would I need to buy tape from them?--The associate shared that actually, since boxing is a service they provide, they cannot allow me to physically box anything in the store...--Confused, I clarified, "Are you saying that I can't transfer the contents of my box into this box you just quoted me for, here in the store, because you want to charge to do it for me?" They confirmed, yes, and that it would cost me $29.99 to pack it for me....Otherwise, I'd need to go outside to re-pack the box myself. Rather than allow me to transfer from the torn box into the new box and get the job done....this business opted to require me to leave the store if I wasn't going to choose to have them pack the box for me for an additional $30 (on top of the already $66 I was already paying). IMO, this was terrible customer service and extremely inconvenient. I'd rather go elsewhere than be forced to utilize services in order to be treated like an already paying customer. I won't ever go back.

Do not ever use this store. They make you use their PC and charge you $20 right off the bat. They give 5 min to print your own label . They have everyones personal info now stored in their hard drive. This place is the definition of a scam.
