I highly recommend SJ Customs. John the owner installed a Dakota digital dash in my 86 El Camino and it works perfectly. He even got the fuel gauge working without having to replace the sending unit which would've required him to drop the tank, so that really saved me $$. Next he removed all the surface rust from the undercarriage, and then painted it. It looks better than new. He also noticed that my front brakes were missing the wheel bearing dust caps, so he had some on hand, and installed them. Thank you for everything John! I will be back soon.

so my IS350 was making rumbling noise (feels/sound like driving on rumble strips). Took it to a few mechanics, none was able to figure out what was wrong with it, though they all think its wheel bearing, but cant confirm since wheel bearing failure makes different sound. I had one wheel bearing replaced, but it didnt help. Anyway, found John on google, read all his reviews, and decided to take it to him. He took it for a test drive and performed some hands on testing, he was able to point out which wheel bearing was bad, I was skeptical (since i had one replaced prior), but I was also desperate. Told John to go forward with the replacement, he had it done in ~30. Car just feel like new now, Kudos to to John. Again thank you for all your help.

My husband's car was making a horrible noise his friend at work told him that the shock was broken in the back. His car is lowered and its a specialty car. After searching around we found SJ Customs and took the car in to see John and Fred. They are a couple of great guys!!! John did the work fast and he did it at a price that worked for us. I highly recommend SJ Customs if you have a custom car. Please don't be afraid to support this wonderful family-run business!!!

Lookin for a mechanic that doesn't give you the run around, you found him. Two man shop that does mechanic and custom work for a good price. I've taken my car here many times to get basic work done, brakes, suspension work, oil change, etc. . You'll be feeling comfortable that you left your car with John, the owner. He drives you home is you need support, tows your cars, and is extremely personable. Side note: Parking is terrible but not an issue when your brining your car to get serviced. Overall great experience that you won't forget.

Just picked up my car from SJ Customs. The service was fantastic. John was very knowledgeable, honest, and efficient.The prices were very reasonable. He explained everything clearly. Albert was also very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Everytime I had my car serviced there, they worked diligently to get my car back with a very fast turnaround. If you care about reasonable prices, honest mechanical work, and excellent customer service, don't hesitate to give SJ Customs a try.

I came to John for my Mercedes Benz Headlight Swap. He is very detail orientated and took the time to make sure that the bumper is removed correctly in order for the headlight to be removed safely. He is a very pleasant and honest guy. I would recommend John for any auto customization you need!

I had a Fantastic experience finding this shop. I came for the tire shop next door but it had just closed. I think SJ Customs had just closed too, but the people who work here are Awesome! Truly the definition of Above and Beyond. They were able to help me out and get me back on the road again in record time. Knowledgeable, quick, and down to earth/easy to talk to. I'm happy to find out that they work on more than just beautiful classic cars. I don't want any of my cars to break down or have issues, but should it happen I look forward to the opportunity to come here first :) Thank you!

So I called this clown to do a ls swap for me he came looked at my car said no problem I have 2 in the shop rite now so it will be a month till I can get you in a month later I called him ow 2 more weeks then ow 2 more weeks so then I saw him at a shop where I get work done on my Bmw he was stopping to talk to one of the guys that worked there he told me at that time ow on the 24 of the month I will be ready for you called him then and he tells me I can't take your car I am declining the work nothing but b******* shop was closed for a few weeks now I see he's playing let's try agin don't trust him don't. Wait over a day to get in or it could turn out to be 3 months wasted
