This thrift store is more expensive than purchasing new items at retail stores. Not ok. Salvation Army thrift stores have drastically changed. I'll just go to Ross instead! Goodwill had always had a poor reputation and SA was known for being a great deal. Not anymore; now they're both ridiculous. If I wanted to make a donation to SA, I'll just donate. But lower income members of our community depend on thrift stores for their basic clothing and household needs. Instead of being a win-win, shopping here is just making a full donation to SA, as most items are priced more than purchasing them new elsewhere. So I'll just do that from now on. What a tragedy.Whoever is making these decisions, to totally change the pricing after all these years... You've really blown it. The Winchester store is already closed... Are you trying to shut this one down too?

This place is great! everything The clothing and the merchandise is just perfect the only problem I have with it is a women that works here started chuckling at me :(

Great Place, though a bit small. More things for Women then Men. Great Staff. No bathroom here. Use Target if you have to 2 min away. Wait for the sale usually the end of the Month.

Great place to shop for clothes, appliances and home decor. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Definitely my go to place to shop and the prices are incredible.

Great selection of clothing, furniture, books, dvds, and even records. The tall caucasian cashier up front definitely needs to work on his customer service. Yelling across the store to customers with attitude is not the way to go.

They're getting so picky on donations. I have a Teek wood bench that's cost hundred dollars. The stain for color faded little, but the bench is in perfect condition. They refused to take it. I would rather give it to anyone that recognizes a Teek wood bench than wasting it with an organization that's getting ridiculously picky.

I HOPE ANIMAL LOVERS READ THIS! I will no longer be making donations to Salvation Army or buying any items. I’ll be reporting them to the humane society right after this review. We went to drop off some things from storage. We had a terrible experience: A mouse’s leg got crushed outside where they were taking donations. It kept screaming. And even though I told them to stop, an employee who was helping us kept kicking it. I asked them to stop torturing it and they said they had someone coming with a shovel and he kicked it again and again before someone else finally mercy killed it. I’ll never go there again. On top of the inhumanity; they wouldn’t take a couch even though their website said they would without even inspecting it. Their website said they took drop offs till 8pm online, but actually stopped at 6pm. They need to update their website. I wish I could give less than 1 star.

My daughter and I live this place! We stopped in last week and were greeted at the door, by Joey who was super friendly and helpful. The store is bright, clean and stocked with great stuff. My sister commented that it felt like a high end Goodwill. We bought a fantastic vintage dining room set that was very reasonably priced and will definitely be back.

This SA location is great and features all sorts of neat things. I come in here when I'm visiting family and always manage to find a little something nice. The store is neatly organized and clean too. If you love thrift stores you have to see this gem.

the white bald guy allways makeing fun on me when he sees this store needs newmanagement i c the way he touches his employees.will update a video of himnext timei’m on i had enuf of his discrimination because of my size he been doing it for years .that’s why people that work there allways get the stuf b4 it comes out for them

Newly Remodeled May 2023! It's hit or miss sometimes, but always great deals. Have found some GEMS here. Staff is very nice and the store is so much more organized now that they renovated. Only SA left in Santa Clara, as more sales are online now.

This location has the best people working there! A nice guy named Joey was on the register when I was there and he not only was affable even though the store was busy and he was the only one on the register, but he also was super efficient and got through the line quickly. Also, I donated items and the guys receiving donations couldn't have been nicer! The employees all had great attitudes and offered a fantastic customer service experience. Between my pleasant experience there and the solid clothing selections, I'll for sure be back.
