Since Mothers day this year 2023 this Safeway has had one of main entrance/exit closed off. We are now at the end of June. This is unacceptable in a huge parking lot that need both entrances open especially when the entrance I am taking to question is the first one you see. The manager needs to step up and get this issue resolved we can't have this door closed all summer it makes no sense. The door looks completely fine by the way so I would love the know the excuse for why it's closed. Come on Safeway!

Don't waste your time. Prescriptions sent Monday AM. Figuring four working days was plenty went Friday AM to pick up. Hadn't even started. Pharmacist attempted to shift blame to "the other pharmacist" then cop an attitude while never even pretending to start work on the prescriptions.No sense in trying to reason with this "professional". Recommend selecting a pharmacy with an interest in serving their community. This one clearly doesn't. This pharmacy continues to rack up negative reviews, yet leadership either doesn't notice or doesn't act to correct.

Horrible place. Forgot to fill my mom medications prior to her travel and when I asked, they accused me for not letting them know ahead of time. Even though my mother came to talk to them Saturday and was told that everything will be ready Monday. Tuesday- only 2/5 are ready- the rest are not.

The staffs here need to acknowledge the customers when they are in line. No knowledge and no instructions to the customers wait in line so they don't know what to do.

Safeway pharmacy has horrible customer service. I came right after my dental appointment as I needed pain medication after a tooth extraction. These were just ibuprofen pills and antibiotic pills which they can get quickly. It was a Saturday. I got there at 4:30 and they wouldn’t fill my prescription because they said they are close at 5. Told me it will be ready tomorrow? Really? I took my prescriptions home and came the next morning, and it took them 10 minutes to have my meds ready. Seriously unprofessional… They have no care for patients’ needs. Unless you have no other choice, don’t come here for your meds.

I love this store! The staff and managers are very polite and I had a great experience! Everything about this store is amazing. Very clean and organized:) ❤️ My favorite neighborhood Safeway!!

Don't bother making an appt for your covid19 shot here, you'll probably die from covid19 before getting the shots. Pointless to have an appt and take walkins and making the appointee wait. Sure the shot is free but time is money and you'll waste a lot of time waiting for 1 person to serve 100.

Awful. Every time I have gone, I am the only one in line and then the staff looks at me, then proceeds to ignore me for 5 minutes. I thought I must have been exaggerating it in my head but the next time, I literally timed it on my timer. I was standing there for 5 minutes and 30 seconds before one of the two staff members decided to stop whatever they were doing and help me. Not to mention that but they failed to refill my prescription on time EVERY SINGLE TIME I visited. I once ordered a full for a first-time prescription and I saw online that it would be ready the next day. I waited two days and then came to the store near closing time, and the tech told me the Rx was not filled because it was too soon. I said this is a first time prescription. She said the doctor must have sent it to a different pharmacy. I said this is my only pharmacy on file with the doctor so how would I know what other pharmacy it was sent to. She told me I should call my prescription insurance company as if they would know where a prescription was filled for a drug I’ve never taken and never purchased. I left the store feeling defeated but then I realized they obviously have my prescription, I need to go back and get it. So I went back in and told the tech I “called the insurance” and they said it was here. She literally rolled her eyes and told the pharmacist she was going to take out the trash and proceeded to do so. After several minutes of waiting, the pharmacist came over and SURPRISE, turns out they did have my prescription. But, after ringing it up, she said wait no there’s something in the directions that was not clear and she could not dispense it. She said I had to call my doctor the next day and tell them to clarify the instructions. Is that not the pharmacist’s job?? Anyway, I did manage to get a hold of my doctor and request the to clarify the instructions. They were confused and ended up calling the pharmacy anyway. The next day, I called the pharmacy to see if I could pick up up my prescription yet and they said oh yeah the doctor did clarify the instructions, we can have it ready by tomorrow. I showed up the next day and the Rx was not ready. Had to wait for 20 mins. Lol. And this is one of many stories. I’ve never experienced customer service anywhere near this bad from a pharmacy.

At Safeway pharmacy, first time shopper, just one pharmacist on duty. I've dropped off a prescription to be filled, waited more than 3 hours to be partially filled up. Pharmacist refused to fill it, even with a prescription present, issued minutes earlier, totally irrelevant. Still waiting for the prescription to be filled up

It was like 11pm and we went to Safeway for some cereal and the cashier (Michael) was disgustingly rude. I was wearing a Yankees hat and he made me take it off because i didn't know anything about the Yankees like he fr made me take it off or else he wouldn't register us. After that he got mad that we were buying cereal at 11pm. He got mad at other people too pls fire
