Safeway is convenient and has fairly good produce in a selection of other goods. But sometimes the meat department is lacking. I highly suggest staying away from their seafood. I've tried the fresh and frozen and many times I get it home and it's rotten. And they actually gave me a bad time returning some clams that I had bought the day before. And they gave me a bad time also about returning some pork ribs that when I opened the package were green and smelled like rotten eggs.Come on Safeway stop selling, expired meat items to your customers.

came to this Safeway around 9-10am and grabbed a few snacks. checked out at the self checkout, I had two boxes of grapes, so I double scanned them and the worker in the self checkout kept starring at me and finally came up to me saying "I think you forgot to scan something." And I said, "I doubled scanned the grapes because I bought 2 boxes.", so she responded saying, "Oh okay I wasn't 100% sure." Unfortunately, she did not give me her name. it really made me embarrassed and offended that she said would assume I was stealing. I understand that paying attention to things like this is part of the job, however, I feel she stereotyped and racially profiled me because I'm a Hispanic woman who was wearing pajamas while checking out in the self checkout, considering the area that the Safeway is located...Worker description: short, heavy set Hispanic, & had black blazer and blue shirt. I hope this gets addressed.

The staff has been super helpful when I've had trouble finding a cart or couldn't find something in the store. It's usually well stocked and the lines aren't too long most of the time.

Did an online pickup order. Checked in to let them know I was on the way and then checked in to let them know I arrived. After 5 minutes the app advised me to call the number listed to get help. Tried 4 times and either was taken directly to voicemail or it just kept ringing. Finally called customer service and was told someone would be out. Waited 25-30 minutes total

Pick-up grocery order placed through their app was nearly 24 hours late. The store would not pick up their phones when I called to inquire about the order. When it was finally ready 1/2 of the order was either out of stock or substituted with completely different products. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Solely for their flowers. If you look at my previous flower pictures for this Safeway, they're always so fresh and so full when fully bloomed! The roses here last a lot longer than when I get them elsewhere, not sure why but because of it, I get most of my weekly blooms at this location. They've got a lot of other flowers if you're not looking for roses. I love supporting small Florist shops, but it can be very pricey. So if you're looking for affordable and long lasting flowers, check out this Safeway or your nearest ones. Flower tip: When selecting flowers, you'll want to check out for some of these things. 1. Check for rotting stems/petals before buying.2. Make sure petals are not wilted/drooping. They should be tight and firm and bright colors. 3. If you have animals at home, check if the flowers you're getting can be toxic to your Furbies! 3. Cut about half an inch off of stem for every water change you do. Recommended every 2-3 days. 4. Avoid putting them in direct sunlight. For more flower tips, google! Lol

I bought a $40 apple gift card for my daughter on 05/24/23 that did not work when she tried to add it to her iTunes account the next day. I returned to the store to exchange it but the store manager, Antonia R said they can't do exchanges or returns for gift cards. She said we had to call the support number on the gift card and let me use the store phone. It was a long wait and I had two 3 year olds with me so I asked if she could deal with the phone call while I do some shopping since I bought the defective gift card from that safeway and the twins were starting to cry from having to wait so long. She flatly refused to do this for me as she said they might need more info from me. This was a complete lie as all I had was the store receipt and the gift card they sold me so I had no more info than she did. I found this to be ridiculous and management just being lazy to deal with it. If I bought any other defective item from any other store, it has always been on the store to deal with it. I buy apple gift cards for my daughter all the time and this is probably the 3rd time this has happened. Other stores have just issued the exchange and dealt with Apple themselves later. Antonia R could have just as easily dealt with the phone call herself while I went to shop for items at the store but she just walked away and disappeared after the babies started screaming as I was on the call. Honestly, the whole policy of a safeway being able to sell a product that doesn't work and then not taking responsibility for it feels like it isn't a legal policy. I have never once bought a defective item that a store wouldn't exchange until today.Edit: already contacted on safeway.com and already got a reply. Apparently there's a corporate Gift Card number they gave me and you guys could have called (1-877-723-3929) to deal with the situation but instead your management wants to put the problem on me when your store was the one that sold me the defective gift card.

Don't even park here. The people at safeway called the towing compnay "Morris & Sons Towing" within an hour to tow out my car which costed 300+. Apparently this is a common experience if you look at google reviews for Morris & Sons Towing. This safeway is predatory and probably has deals with the guys at the towing company to make a buck off of customers. Again - avoid this safeway/mcdonald's parking lot if shopping or use the nearby parking garage.

Decent and average. I have been in cleaner Safeways and the traffic is a little hectic with the McDonald's drive thru by the entrance. Need more checkers and bad that the Wells Fargo closed there.

I shopped here on November 6. There only about 15 carts in the store and 0 in the parking lot. One of the employees, John, was incredibly helpful. Once he knew I needed a cart, he waited outside until another shopper headed for her car and rolled her basic over to me Now, that's personalized service! Thanks, John!

I've shopped at Safeway's for majority of my life. This is the 1st Safeway I am taking time to write a review on just so I can point out how BAD it is. There are always homeless people outside of it. It's VERY DIRTY both inside and out. You need to get a code to enter the bathroom, which again, is always very dirty. I feel like every time I have to ask an employee for the code that it's something they get asked 100 times a day and get frustrated having to tell it. I usually go grocery shopping in the evenings and frequently have come across a female employee whose name I will not say. But the few times I've asked her questions she seemed to get so irritated! Just asking where something was I got a glare and sassy reply. Usually it seems like she's the only one working since it's in the evenings, and maybe that adds to her stress level. Several times I've been there her lane is the only one open, so I had no choice but to go to her. Each time she's either been texting on her phone or looking everywhere except at the customer. I don't know if I would say this is Safeway's fault because they should have more staff on hand, then maybe she wouldn't be in such a bad mood. I don't know - just saying the sad truth. I am switching Safeway's!!!

This Safeway super sucks. They had my car towed from a spot as far away from the entrance as I could get, but they claim this is private property and they own the entire lot but there's a McDonald's there as well and other businesses around Where I parked was the spots facing meridian where there is no signage saying you can't park there. The photo in this image shows the black truck which is in the spot I was in before it got towed, and we can also see the McDonald's sign all the way to the right hand side. You can clearly see there are no signs. In fact I never saw any parking signs until after I was trying to find my car and those were the other direction another spots so one could honestly conclude it was okay to park here since it was so close to McDonald's. I ran across the street to have breakfast before coming back over here to shop at safeway, I come back and my car is gone. The parking lot was half empty when I parked there and it was half empty when I came back. I thought the car was stolen and found out later that it was towed, and I also found out later that the security there just watches you. If they see you park there and not immediately go into Safeway, for some reason Safeway has them tow you. I mean I can understand it if the parking lot was full and they're trying to make way for customers, but the parking lot was half empty and I was about as far away from the entrance to Safeway you can get - and I was only gone for 2 hours in the early morning. Nobody is really parking here for Safeway it's a giant lot and its right next to McDonald's. There was no reason why they needed to tow me. They could have given me a warning at the least but the lot was far from ful and it rarely is. I didn't see signage coming into the lot and there wasn't signage where I parked clearly in this photo. I just couldn't believe that they would have one of their customers towed. What happens if I was actually in Safeway and came out with a shopping cart full of groceries and my car was missing. I would have had to leave my shopping cart there of groceries to go find my car. I also would like to point out that this is my primary company that I shop groceries for there are other competitors out there and because of this incident I don't have any intention of shopping here again. It's a shame because every time I use my debit card it would ask if I wanted to donate to some cause or another, or around Thanksgiving, I would donate to the Thanksgiving drives and stuff, sadly that won't happen anymore and it only hurts their customers more but that's on them. It's super sucks, It was $340 tow..

I love Safeway, but this branch stinks :-( I touched a sticky product, which happens. No soap in the bathroom. I told the lady at the "guest service" or whatever it's called. She said "I'll call someone". Waited a few more minutes, nothing. Still no soap and no service.

Please hire deli workers that know what they are doing and understand measurements. Half a pound is not the same as 1/4th pound. And you don't have to watch a corn dog cook while there are others waiting.
