It is so hard to park during weekends so I recommend going there during weekdays. They carry a great variety of Japanese snacks! I hope they have more variety of Japanese drinks as well.

Suspicious person stalking us from outside of the store and then in the store, and around our vehicle. Used to be our favorite place. Terrible security onsite and around the parking lot. Avoid forever.

Looks like in Japan supermarket when you are at Mitsuwa Marketplace because there is a small foodcourt, a bookstore, gashapon corner and a supermarket. The products selling at the supermarket seems to be more expensive than other Japanese grocery stores in California.

Please try the chestnuts that are sold at the entrance, they’re heavenly!!!!Anyway the store is good. Has a lot of authentic Japanese stuff. The Ramen place located inside is highly rated and popular.

One of the few stores in the Bay Area that carries Japanese groceries. They have a good deli selection along with one of the best ramen around, Santouka. One of the items that is hard to find elsewhere is grill unagi from Japan. They are more expensive than Chinese unagi but worth the premium in quality.
