I should have come here years ago. Troy Schalk was my service manager for years and then he changed to Mercedes Service Center of Silicon Valley. I brought my 350 Ml to the shop and was happily surprised. Not only did they do my major repair for less than I had been quoted elsewhere but found another issue and repair it as well. Great communication and the car runs better than it has in years. If you love your Mercedes this is where you should come.

I had to get 6 years (60000 miles) service with some break pad replacements on my 2018 C43. This was my first time not taking my car to a dealership for servicing so I was nervous. I talked to Troy (sorry if I heard it wrong and it was Trey) and I was satisfied with what he had to say about servicing my car. They did what was necessary and not everything just to get money out of me. Servicing was done in 4 hours and they charged me 1/5th of what dealership quoted. I found this business was very honest about what was done and what wasn't and why(s) of it. The detailed receipt I got in the end even tells me how much of my breaks are left, how much tread is left and everything. I am pretty satisfied with their work.

Did my first service here. Excellent and very friendly customer service. The team here tells you what is necessary and then they do that well and fast. No upselling of unnecessary work and reasonable prices. Got my car back in no time with a nice courtesy car wash as well. Very happy after my first visit.

Highly recommend. Went in for a second opinion after doing some research and finding this shop. I was told by another independent that I needed to replace my transmission mount, motor mounts, and do a brake fluid flush. After dropping my car off was quickly made aware that nothing needed to be replaced and I was good to go. Not a penny charged. Really appreciate the honesty and will definitely be coming back for service. Thank you!

I'm giving this fantastic Mercedes specialist repair shop a 5 star review.
Why you might ask? Well, read on to see my review of the difference that this shop offers in customer support, diagnosis, and their commitment to going above and beyond in repairing their client's Mercedes vehicles.
Now, on to what brought me to Mercedes Service of Silicon Valley: tons of internet research and review reading, of course!
There are not many Mercedes-specific auto shops in the Bay Area that aren't simply "we do European cars in addition to Mercedes" kind of auto shops. I needed a specialist in this case and my research paid off when I chose this place to get my (epic) list of repairs done.
Having failed smog in February 2024 due to running lean on both banks of my 2014 C63 AMG (codes confirmed with an ODB II diagnostic device I possess), I made the command decision to also have a bunch of preventative maintenance done and also wanted a quote from them regarding potential rebuilding of my cam shafts/tappets/cam adjusters.
Within a day of dropping the car off, Nick, the technician performing the work reached out to me with a comprehensive estimate and also spoke in length with me about the lack of a need to replace my cam shafts, tappets, and cam adjusters at this time (work easily worth north of $5k more) due to his analysis of the current status of my engine's top end. He backed this up with comparisons with other similar cars with the M156 engine and let me know that the code I read on my device (P0732 "bank 1 exhaust camshaft out of predicted range") was transient, and probably a fluke. After this discussion I agreed with his opinion that this work could be excluded from the estimate and that we could proceed with the following requested repair items for my car:
1) Intake Manifold removal and re-installation with new gaskets and resealing of the intake due to corrosion in the magnesium alloy;
2) Motor and transmission mount replacement(s);
3) Driveshaft flex-discs;
4) Front brakes (he installed these with my provided rotors, pads, and sensor);
5) Full brake fluid flush;
6) New spark-plug installation (with my provided OEM spark plugs);
7) Engine flush, oil change, and liquid moly Ceratec additives specifically to enable this type of engine to perform its best at this mileage (~120k).
How did they do? The work was performed flawlessly. They even repainted and resealed my intake manifold against potential future corrosion (known issue for this engine type) which is a service I am certain would not have been offered at other shops, not even the dealer!
Their labor rates are very modest and affordable for the work they did and their customer support from drop-off to pickup is stellar: I felt informed and comfortable throughout the 3 week time-frame this work took to be completed.
Would I go here again? Heck yes! My car drives like new, I passed smog with flying colors, and my 6.2L monster is back on the road where it deserves to be. Don't hesitate to trust your Mercedes to the fine team at Mercedes Service of Silicon Valley. You won't regret it!

This is my second visit here. This time, I came for the service B of my GLC300 2017 with 70k miles. I also mentioned a few areas of concern. The person who assisted me was very courteous and provided sincere service, making the experience highly positive. I dropped off my car around 8:30 in the morning, and by around 11:00, I received a call that the service was completed. The pricing was reasonable compared to the dealership. Overall, it was a very professional service, and I highly recommend it.
