I recently visited Marine Layer and had an exceptional experience thanks to Raven (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly). She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. Not only did she help hold my husky while I was changing, but she also gave my dog lots of love and attention, which was so kind and thoughtful. Additionally, her product recommendations were spot on, and I ended up buying what she suggested. Raven’s knowledge, kindness, and excellent customer service made my visit truly enjoyable. Thank you, Raven, for making my shopping experience so pleasant!

This stuff is too pricey for me. 3 t-shirts for $100? I'm used to 3 for $10. But I will give them five stars because the staff is always friendly and the eco-friendly shirts are super soft and durable. The 3 for $10 ones are stiff like the socks under my bed.

There's a reason why no one shops here. Lack of customer service , I've met majority of staff super helpful . But the entitled employee refused to offer a job and not provide any customer service. Honey , maybe look for a different line of work cause you suck at customer service which mean no money for ur store !!!! Bye Felicia !! Do the company and every customer you meet a favor . Don't work here!!! Cause you leave a fowl stench after you interact with a customer !!

This a great little store! The staff is really fun and always around to help. They do a lot of clothes in up-cycled materials that they take donations of! Very conscious. They even give you $5 per t-shirt you donate up to $25 to spend in the store! The clothes are super soft and really cool with a hint of 70s nostalgia. Definitely worth a look when you’re at Santana Row! See photos.

Great store! Super high quality product that is crazy soft. Lots of new product all the time for both men and women's. Their new fall/winter items are coming out just in time for the cold. Highly recommend going in. It's very safe with everyone wearing masks and using hand sanitizer at the door (which the staff asks you to do before shopping. So great) They also take donation of t-shirts and give you $5 per shirt up to $25 off an item in store! Check out the photos!

High quality, stylish clothing, with friendly sales associates and good hygiene practices. I've been admiring this brand for a while but this was the first time I've been able to stop in a store. I am impressed, and picked up a cute solid tee (pictured below). I do wish their prices were lower, but they are made of pima cotton so they are super soft! Luckily, the shirt was an additional 20% off so that softened the blow. The sales associates chatted with me the entire time I was browsing and appreciated the attentive service :)

I loved everything about my recent visit to Marine Layer located in Santana Row. The best part was the customer service we received from Elizabeth... Marine Layer has been on my radar for a little while now. It pops up on my social media account from time to time and I thought the design of the items they've featured were unique and cool. I grew up in San Francisco so them being a company from the city definitely caught my attention. I saw a tee in store that I just had to have. The hammock tee... It's a play on my beloved Golden Gate Bridge but used as a hammock. I though it was genius but the graphic was small so it was still understated...Tried on a Medium... too tight. Tried on a Larger.. too big, too long. Elizabeth had heard my dilemma and that was I super keen on the graphic. She suggested she first check the back stock as one was said to be in the system... no luck. She then said she could check stores that may have it close to where I live (We were in town to see my 49ers play in nearby Santa Clara). None of the stores in the Greater Los Angeles area had it... BUT she found it at the San Diego store. Elizabeth called the SD store, had them hold it for me, accessed it for purchase in the system and arranged for it to be shipped to my address. Amazing... I have worked in retail so I know how it is. I know what good customer service is and I also know what going above and beyond looks like. The latter is certainly our experience with Elizabeth at the Santana Row location. Cant thank her enough for her help. She was beyond helpful, engaging and is a natural and well versed at what she does. My view of Marine Layer as a brand was already high seeing what I have been exposed to on social media and with our experience firsthand at the store, it's even that much higher. I definitely recommend checking them out at Santana Row and seeing the clothing and other well-curated items they sell. I also was very impressed with their t-shirt recycling program. You donate your old tees. You get $ credit. They break down to fibers. They add recycled plastic bottles to the fibers to make their yarn. That yarn from your old shirts are re-spun to make new shirts. Genius. No water used. No added dyes. No new materials... Genius. I love it. I back it.

Very cool & comfortable !! When my son gave his old ML T-shirt to me, I preferred it over my New T-shirts!!! So went & bought but missed the logo !!! Restart putting logo please !!!
