My recent stay at Hyatt House San Jose/Silicon Valley was a complete disaster, and I can't emphasize enough how strongly I advise against booking a room at this establishment. From the moment I checked in, it was evident that this hotel falls far short of the standards one would expect, especially from a reputed chain like Hyatt. The first red flag was the state of my room – it was downright filthy. The bed sheets and pillows were adorned with unsightly yellow stains, which left me questioning the cleanliness and hygiene practices of the housekeeping. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, their response was shocking. They outright refused to change my room, claiming that all rooms were booked, despite my reservation being made well in advance.Unable to tolerate the unsanitary conditions any longer, I decided to cut my losses and walked out in the middle of my intended stay. This not only disrupted my plans but also added unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be a business trip. The lack of accommodation alternatives within the hotel left me scrambling for a last-minute solution.I would strongly caution anyone against staying at Hyatt House San Jose/Silicon Valley. The blatant neglect of cleanliness, the refusal to address valid concerns, and the overall lack of consideration for guests make this hotel a terrible choice. As an alternative, I found the Courtyard by Marriott across the street to be a vastly superior option – clean, accommodating, and with a staff that actually cares about guest satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and consider other options for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Great location near some offices with a few restaurants in the same plaza. Room it clean and parking structure nearby is convenient. No views from the room, which isn't really that important for business trips.

Great location and great customer service. The nice front desk clerk allowed me to check in early so I can attend the 49ers game. Very convenient to Levi Stadium. Short train ride. Nice and clean room. Will stay here again next time I'm in town.

Good Hyatt House to use up the hyatt rewards as it is category 4 hotel. They have EV chargers upfront and parking in a parking structure that is shared with office parking. Right off of 237, it seems like a good location for business travelers during weekdays and a good place for 49er fans as the weekend we came happened to be game day. Located in a shopping plaza it is easily accessible to restaurants such as SAJJ Mediterranean and a quick drive to the Milpitas plaza for good chinese food. We were upgraded to a bedroom which had a kitchenette which was very useful.

I have been visiting my daughter frequently in college so me and my husband decided to stay here. When we arrived on Friday we were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk attendant. They have great spa water and small refreshments in the lobby for anyone checking in. Everything was great until I requested extra towels. We had been driving back and forth to our daughter's college over any hour away each day to get her situated. Unfortunately as Covid has made a large impact on Hotel life. We are no longer offered daily housekeeping services for essential amenities such as new towels or bedding. So the most you can do at this point is request new towels, which is what I did. I requested my towels around 6pm at 9:15 pm I was awoken by one call. I didn't get to answer the phone as I had been sleep for a couple of hours and was discombobulated. There was no knock on the door and suddenly I was startled by someone entering my room. This was extremely scary and alarming. I have never had anyone try to enter my room from hotel staff at 9:15pm and I have stayed at many hotels. Usually they will leave my towels in a plastic bag at the door. After I screamed as someone tried to enter my room my towels were left outside on the hotel floor (unbagged). This is definitely something that I have not been accustomed to and is not a welcoming factor. My husband went down to the front desk and was met by the manager and was given an apology. We were then promised 8000 Hyatt points for the inconvenience and have not received them at this point.

The location is awesome. Just walking to Google campus and a lot of restaurants. The rooms are not serviced everyday (at least not the two nights I stayed) and had to ask for lotion etc at the front desk. But overall the room was

Great stay. Had my daughters 18th birthday party here and it went off with our a hiccup. Hotel management was helpful with a top floor room to have the party away from other guests to eliminate complaints.

Hyatt House Silicon Valley/San Jose, a category 4 Hyatt branded hotel, is a bit of a mixed bag. Let's start with the positives. The location is fantastic - right in the heart of Silicon Valley. This feels like a hotel designed to making it a convenient choice for business travelers through and through. You are surrounded by tons of restaurants and fast food (Chik-fil-a, Chipotle, Starbucks, etc) and other convenient stores (CVS, Target). The room size we got for our free night certificate is adequate. Though barely 312 sq ft, you really feel cramped with the 2 queen beds. Since we're traveling with 2 toddlers, I don't think we could've gone any smaller and not drive each other crazy. There are no surprises with the standard set of amenities you'd expect from a Hyatt House property. The complimentary breakfast is high quality as usual, and the staff is generally friendly and accommodating. However, there are a few areas where this hotel falls short. It didn't feel clean. There are corridor between the beds that make you wonder how do they clean it if they can't fit a vacuum cleaner down this aside. Housekeeping is by request only but they do do a good job when you request it. The noise level can be a bit disruptive, especially if you're trying to get some work done or catch up on sleep. The hotel seems to be very busy with family with kids coming in for sport games on the weekend. The parking situation doesn't feel ideal despite being in a gated structure. I think all the large font signs around the perpetual and neighboring restaurant warning people to not leave things in their cars or park overnight in the public lot did not leave a good feeling in my heart. Swimming pool was pretty busy throughout the day. Salt water pool. Well maintained. But it is in the middle of the hotel so all the rooms can hear the ruckus down below if you're enjoying the water too much. In conclusion, if you're looking for a well-located hotel with comfortable rooms and don't mind a few inconveniences, Hyatt House Silicon Valley/San Jose might be a suitable choice. However, if you're seeking a completely seamless experience, let's just say this is no Hyatt Centric Mountain View, which is a category 5 Hyatt hotel.

We stayed here so we could walk to the Taylor swift concert. Location, parking and staff are excellent, the pool is also nice. The hotel is fine on almost every level. The one deal breaker was that there was air freshener strips in the vents, when I say air freshener I don’t mean a professional hotel air freshener that makes things smell good, I mean the kind of air fresher that you would find in a gas station, the kind that smells completely artificial and makes your eyes burn. I was able to find a remove the air freshener from the vents but I can tell you under normal circumstances we would not have considered staying in the room.I don’t normally leave reviews but management needs to know that cheap chemical air fresheners are not acceptable in a three star hotel or even a two star hotel.

We stayed for a night. The rooms are clean and the vibe is good. The area is safe. However, at check in I was specifically told that my reservation does not cover breakfast. At check out I was told otherwise and that I missed the breakfast serving window. That was very disappointing.

The hotel itself is fine, pretty much your standard Hyatt place (or Hyatt house) experience. However, we’ve been seeing homeless people wandering around the area two days in a row, near the hotel entry, in the early morning and during the night. You can see hotel guests hesitant to enter the hotel because the homeless guy was literally next to the hotel entry on the side of the parking structure.

This Hyatt House was very clean and well-kept, and the staff were super friendly! I also appreciated that it was right next to a lot of eateries, and being close to the VTA made a 4 day visit without a rental car a breeze. I'll definitely consider this place for future San Jose visits :)

I stongly recommend this hotel. The room is spacious, nice and quiet. Especially Jimmy was very professional. Personal requirements were also accommodated. I was happy during my stay. There are delicious restaurants, marts, and pharmacies nearby, so it's convenient to use.
