It is not possible to give a negative star or zero star, so I went with one. The manager Melanie should not be a manager. HD has just lost my business at that store and I will try not to go to other HD's unless I cannot find a Lowes or others nearby. I asked to speak to a manager about an issue of their store policy and she took her time in getting to me even though I was told that she will see me in about 3 minutes. I saw her coming from the other end of the store and on the way she stopped and chat with other customers even when other HD associates were in the same group helping the customers. So, I went up to where she was and asked if she was the manager that was coming to see me. She did not say yes or no. She then minimized the reason that she was told why I wanted to see her and put on a jeering smile. I proceeded to tell her my issue and suggestion about more signage of their board cutting policy to make it clear so that I didn't not have to waste my time lugging around a 4x8 board, pay for it first, then told they cannot cut it. After hearing about my issue, she said "Is that all?", with no apology or if she was going to look into it. Very unprofessional and no respect for customers. How did she ever make it to being a manager is beyond me.

Wonderful employees pretty much all the time. With all the local government allowances, 5150 transients living along the creek, tight location, heavy concentration of people in general with no room, basically.....crap they have to put up with....they handle it very well. Thanks for being there so close to our East San Jose homes HD.

No expert service, and when you can find help, the attitude is, as a customer, I am bothering them. Stock is very limited. I walked the parking and there's garbage everywhere. The street, McGinnis Way, I think it's called, there's garbage, broken carts on Home Depot's property. I would think that as a store, they would want to have a clean image regardless of where the garbage comes from. The curb appeal is nasty. There's lots of Home Depots. I don't have to go to this one. I also wish managers would teach their employees that if you don't have customers, then they don't need you!

Okay what an awful experience I saw that the box of cords was on sale from $4.97 to $2.72 but the cashier Asian lady didn't like the price she was saying that wasn't the right price regardless that the tag said it was right. I showed her to price tag and the skull number but she did not have it she started to raise her voice at me and I was not having that kind of unprofessional interaction then I asked the manager "JAY" who handled the situation very quickly. I don't appreciate being screamed at! So please Home Depot make sure your cashiers have maners and don't have a mental breakdown when they don't like the price advertised. Thank you Jay for handling this situation with professionalism

Hello, good afternoon everyone, in this place you can find too many things that you need, for your home, garden and so on, the only thing is that they have very few staff and you also have to wait for them to take care of you, if you find someone who works in the establishment, they are Very little trained, they need more experience about what they do, very good store, only those points of view should be appreciated, thank you ?

Good prices. Good staff. Some who are not at all friendly and feel like owners of the store.

I rented a truck from HD for ten days and left my car in the parking lot. No one told me I couldn't leave it there. I didn't ask if it was okay to leave it there since other places where I have rented vehicles let you park your car in their lot while you're renting. I drove by HD periodically to check on my car but never saw any warning notices on it. When I returned the HD truck at the end of the ten days, my car was gone. The day shift supervisor said the employees are not trained to ask if the customer will be leaving their vehicle and said it was my fault for not asking. I asked to talk to the manager, who conveniently, was not available. For a whole month, I was not able to contact the manager even though I called numerous times, left messages and went in person to the store. When he was finally available, after a month of dodging my calls and my in-store visits, he blamed me for the tow. He said I "abandoned" my vehicle. He denied authorizing the tow and said the tow company drives through the parking lot and takes vehicles which are in their parking lot after hours. He said even night shift employees had been towed. He refused to reimburse me for the tow. When I asked to talk to his supervisor, he refused to give me that information. Although the truck itself was great (it even had a backup camera which the U-Haul trucks don't have) the rest of the rental was terrible. They don't provide a dedicated parking spot for customers who are renting a truck for an extended period of time nor do they provide a parking permit or placard stating that you are a truck rental customer. So, if you rent a truck and plan to have it after hours, get a friend to drive your car home for you or take an Uber and go back to get it yourself. That's a lot cheaper than paying for a tow. Wish HD had told me, it would have saved me $670 for the tow.

Why do u guys even have phones???!!! Really, WHHHY?!!! No one ever answers them! U have taken a page out of W'mart's playbook. Big mistake. That only pisses people off when they call to ask a question, first, before they waste their gas & time going down there & then find out, in person, that they wasted their gas & time for nothing, when it could've been answered on the phone.Today I called to ask a question about a certain item. I sp w the robot who transferred me. After it rang for a while & no one answered, it again transferred me. It was still ringing 5 mins later when I hung up. In total, I was on the phone, listening to a ringtone, for 6 mins 3 secs & never did sp w a real person to get my question answered. Ridiculous!!!

Horrible service. I asked 3 people for help with taking down some medicine cabinets that were on the top shelf. All 3 walked away and never came back. I heard 1 of the guys radio the manager on the intercom for help and the manager never came so this store has issues from the top down. Never shopping here again and you shouldn't either.

Nice, clean and organized. Specially impressed by rental area where you can rent for 75 mins and transport large purchases. Jeff at rental counter was great to work with and very helpful.

Employees here are the worse. Literally came here for one item and 4 different employees couldn't find this 1 item. In their system and online it said there were around 100 in stock but these inadequate employees could not figure out where it is. Employees here can't do a simple job. STAY AWAY
