All Korean ingredients are available. The neat environment and friendly staff make my shopping enjoyable. In particular, well-prepared beef ribs are the minimum ingredients. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

Customer staff make inaccurate statements about final sales of alcohol. Plus, there is a price on Jinro that is $10 higher than other places. "Most stores have a "final sale " policy when it comes to alcohol, meaning that once the bottle is opened, it cannot be returned. However, if the bottle is unopened and you have proof of purchase, you may be able to return it for a refund or exchange." 1: californiaview.org/retur… We had the recipes & unopened Jinro boxes. The staff refused the return and stated that. It is illegal to return alcohol in California. I will also file a complaint against H mart to train their employees correctly.

Great selection of Asian food! There is usually Fresh seafood but there was one time when there was a pile of dead crabs in a Styrofoam box. Another time, there was seafood that looked questionable so I asked them, "ARE YOU ALIVE?" Sadly, there was no response Overall, great place to shop for fresh produce.

I don't know why I had such high expectations for this H Mart location versus the one I'm use to going to on Old Oakland. The only thing both locations have in common is the hectic parking lot. This location had me feeling very claustrophobic and I am not a fan.The selection of items at this location was very limited. The store itself is smaller than the Old Oakland location IMO. Pricing wasn't an issue for me because I've gotten used to it due to inflation and whatnot. We got the items that my daughter wanted / needed but I have deep regret of not just going to the Hankook Market on El Camino because at least I knew that they carried a wide selection of items to choose from and the location of the store was bigger. I don't know if it's just me or if we came later in the day but there wasn't any pre-made meals or a good selection of side dishes when we arrived around 7:30 PM today. Service was decent but I can honestly say I won't be back to this location of H Mart anytime soon. If I want Korean groceries I will be going to the Hankook Market on El Camino.

Overcrowded, overpriced and rude af cashiers!! The quality of the produce here is lacking and on the verge of going bad.. Prices are higher than other places and the quality is same, if not worse. The cashiers always have an irritated demeanor to them and makes the shopping experience here unpleasant.

Great grocery store. Big selection on packaged and fresh foods. They have fresh coconuts for very reasonable prices. The best I’ve found anywhere.

Legit H Mart for all your Asian grocery needs. They have a high variety of items that are of Chinese / Taiwanese / Korean / Japanese origin. You can tell a lot about how an Asian grocer is operated by checking out the aquariums. I'm happy to report they are extremely well maintained (and so is the meats section). For some reason there has been a shortage of Chinese style dumplings but hopefully that has already been addressed. The frozen section is in the back and is HUGE! Don't miss it, cuz there are a lot of frozen goodies for you to check out.

Interesting selection of seafood, including things like parrotfish, which I didn't know you could eat (always thought of it as an aquarium fish), and live abalone, geoduck, and sea squirt, which I *did* know you could eat.Has my favorite drink brand Sac Sac, but only one flavor, and my favorite low-sugar Vitasoy soy milk, but other than that they have a lesser variety of soft drinks than a 99 Ranch (although at least they're not all spread out all over the store on top of random top-loading cold cases like at 99 Ranch). The bad thing is that there was raw, de-shelled seafood just sitting out in a basket, not on ice, not in a cold case, just on an unmanned table, with bugs flying and crawling around.

Possibly the cleanest, tidiest, and most organized Asian market in the San Francisco Bay Area. Average item prices might be higher than markets like 99 Ranch and Marina Market. However, there are some bargains such as the items on sale. Papayas and bananas are usually at very good prices. Some selected green vegetables are good bargains too when they are marked as special priced. Recommended.

Dragon fruit looks good outside but turns bad smell inside.Bad quality.Worse still, customer service says no return and hangs off the phone saying “I am the manager and no supervisor to transfer (from customer service line)”.

First time at this store. Not what we expected ... had some nice fruit and vegetables. I saw fish, and shellfish. There was a restaurant that had many different "cooked" foods that looked good but were not in a heat lamp or warmer.Overall, it looked clean and organized but just not for me and my needs.

Seafood and meat departments... Woo-hoo! They have everything. Couple things I saw I didn't like were, throwing away sooo much uni. Sad to see or "sad to sea" I should say. The men's restroom was supplied with industrial paper towels for toilet paper. Ouch!

Pretty pricey for Korean food especially compared to LA and San Diego. I would expect H Mart to have better choices in general. The San Francisco / Daly City location also has more food options as well in the food court and so does the SoCal spots. $6.49 for Calpico is also atrocious...decent price on Shin Ramyun at around $5 for 4. Nothing to write home about. I was a little disappointed at the banchan selections and the soju was overpriced for a Korean market: The most appealing stuff was their meats and I bought some marinated pork belly which I will be cooking soon.I don't know...I want to try other markets now in the area.
