Found a bunch of box set dvds of Friends. None had prices, but one was marked at $3.75. I was at the register to find the price of the rest. Then the manager told me it’s marked wrong and that all boxed dvd sets are $9! You could have at least sold me that one for the price it was tagged at! I’m done with Goodwill. It’s a scam. They get free stuff then jack up the prices! I will drive to Savers and deal with that crazy parking then spend any money here!

Way over priced. Free and PRE OWNED/used/broken stuff should not cost that high. They need to lower the prices

Review is for the donation drop off. It’s a bit of a pain to make dropoffs here given you have to walk-in the items. Also, you have enter through a fairly confined doorway, which can be challenging if bringing in bulky items. There’s only 1 drop off parking spot in a snug lot too so it can be further challenging. Also, there’s are a couple of ♿️-accessible parking spots, but I don’t think enough to be effective since I’ve also seen a lot of people drop off after parking in the ramp entry to the sidewalk.

Another terrible experience. The older balding hispanic man that works the dressing rooms is always in such a bad mood! He is rude every time we go and has a terrible attitude. He always seems mad. If someone doesn't like their job they should consider finding a new one, no need to have such awful customer service. San Jose thrifters do yourself a favor, go to the one on Almaden, it has better quality items and friendly service. Hope thrift is also close by great customer service lead by volunteers so you can get things there even cheaper than goodwill.

Overpriced and they know it. The manager even made a joke about it while I was there. Disgusting and rude!

This location is a lifesaver when it comes to toys. I cannot thank you guys enough for selling your toys in those plastic bags. I wish the other locations would do this because of how often us teachers need toys for younger kids. Those who work with kids really appreciate the variety of toys that come in each bag. Keep up the great work!

I usually shop here without problems. During my last trip, I saw a bunch of double tagged items. Like tags layered on another tag. I've seen this before amount multiple goodwill locations. I didn't think anything of it. I usually assume they do this to avoid a higher priced item being part of the color of the week sale. I had 5 items to purchase today, 2 were retagged. The cashier peeled tags off and went with the higher prices(the ones under the retag). I put one item back. Another item I bought had a tag for $8 or $9 and some change. It wasn't retagged. That was the actual tag on the item when I picked it up. I didn't notice until I left but SHE put the $16.49 tag from the item I decided not to get on it! She didn't even say anything to me about charging me more than the tag that was on it. If it was priced wrong, just tell me. I don't know what's going on with their tagging(I also saw some items with multiple tags that were not layered, just on different sides of the box). This store needs to get it together & teach their employees how to conduct business ethically. I'd like to give this store another star because I've never had problems in the past but what she did was unacceptable.

Probably the most overpriced goodwill I've ever been too! They have target items for sale here and they leave the target price tag on them. Guess what??? The goodwill price is twice the original prices.Used shoes? 27 bucks.Crazy

This Goodwill seems to house a lot of great brands! I recommend going here especially for clothing and bags rather than for household items. So if you're thrifting for clothing, this is a prime spot!

Totally overpriced. I saw one of the employees take a name brand leggings back to the back because she said that it's name brand and that "they could get more for it" so she let her boss know to up the price. Wtf.

Super overpriced and anything decent electronics seems to be diverted to online or something. Do you want to pay $99 for a USB 2 KVM switch? Maybe $2.69 for candy you can find at Walmart for $1?

Nothing but idiots working at this Goodwill. Price is posted as one thing and they charge you another. A lady by the name of Martha help me at the register she didn't know what the hell she was doing. They got two restrooms, and neither one of them is available. I call b******* on that. First and last time at this location.

This store has always had way higher prices than any of the other Goodwills but we would still go there once/week because we could find some things for prices we were wiling to pay but we went back last week and were floored by the obscenely high prices and WE WERE NOT ALONE! I picked up 7 things and put them all back because of the shocking prices. Things that would have been $15 in the past were now consistently $32. Things that would have been $3-5 were now consistently $7. Another woman picked up something & said "$14? I like it but I don't like it that much!" and then another gasped & said "$43 for a pair of Vans???" My husband looked at a pair of jeans that would be $8.99 at any other Goodwill & it was $18.99. We were all so taken aback, we blurted it out loud & apparently the other shoppers were regulars too & one commented on how their prices were the highest to begin with prior to this, which is true. She said she was thinking of just leaving without anything. Maybe they think we're all selling things on eBay but my family isn't and also, everything they get is DONATED & they literally make a profit on everything they sell & then some every time they ask if we want to round up. I am disgusted & I won't be going back. We used to always spend anywhere from $50-125 there but I left there without anything and have no reason to return.
