This place has just CLOSED. Normally I would have given it at least 3 stars because the people in the pharmacy were helpful and nice. The problem was clearly the neighborhood, which has seen a spike in homeless people over the last few years, and the shelves were increasingly bare in recent months. This seems to be a trend in retail drug stores, as shoplifting is treated as a joke by California district attorneys. Just look at the rash of Walgreens that closed in SF for this very reason.

I have always loved this store and location. It's a shame they are shutting it down. This site has a comfy vibe that is lacking at all other.

CVS has been charging me ~$5.50 on a monthly basis for an extended period of time and I just now noticed. Apparently when a person agrees to getting a CBS card, you agree to a monthly fee as well. I should have noticed the monthly charge so it's my fault too, but this feels sleazy. CVS will no longer have my business ever. Shame on them.

My doctor told me that my medication is ready to pick up from here. My health system shows me that my medication approved and ready to pick up here. I received an auto call from CVS sayin that my medication is ready to pick up from here. But in store, they told me say me that my medication is not there :) Madam KIM is not helping you and they don't care about how your health is important. They don't solve that issue even it is their issue.Don't recommend this pharmacy. Unprofessional team working!

I come into this CVS once or twice a week...but it wasn't always so. I'm giving this CVS a GOOD rating because they've gotten rid of all the shady characters loitering around. I actually feel safe when I shop there now. Thank you CVS, for putting up signs and getting extra security in the lot to help encourage us all to patronize your business. I tend to always find what I stopped for. The store always feels dead, but there's always a line at the one register open. I like the ample parking and find it very convenient for incidental shopping. It's definitely preferable to the deathtrap at the corner of Bascom and Hamilton. Not as charming as the Lincoln Avenue location, but way more convenient in terms of getting in and getting out.

I realized why I never come to this hidden cvs on the southwest expressway and Leigh avenue near the train tracks- it's awful and out of my way. There are fresh wet odorous stains all over the carpet, especially near the pharmacy and pet food aisle, yikes. They don't have much of a selection, I was looking for 5 items most cvs's regularly carry and they had 2- almost everything I picked up was old dusty and about to expire, even the greeting cards, 1 had a dead roach in it, no joke. Who I assume to be the manager had a woman petting and kissing his face adoringly. He snapped at a cashier, and asked him to go help another employee with moving something. " Hey! Go help her move that fuckin thing she's too fuckin weak to do it!" The cashier repeated, "she's too fuckin weak?! Aww f***** Unfortunately there are a lot of mentally unstable homeless people, quite a few were outside and inside the store. The parking lot is illuminated with a flashing and flickering police light constantly Fun fact : After I drove away a few apartments down there were people trying to break into a car, they didn't look like they locked their keys in it. Probably the worse cvs I've been in. The young woman cashier who rang me up was nice, and she got me out of there pretty quick, so that's something.

I'm so glad I find this drug store near my home because the workers are all so friendly and accepting. It's a definite must-try!

I only go here because it's close to me. The store looks like a mess most of the time but I think that's just because they are understaffed. Lots of expired beer...heck I saw a 6 pack of beer that was missing 2 bottles and it was on the shelf for at least two weeks! Thankfully the employees are nice and helpful. I can see this place improving with the proper leadership.

I have lived near and been shopping at this CVS for 10 years now. At first, because its CVS and they sell candy; now, I go there only because of pure proximity to where I live as it is an excuse to go for a walk-cardio is important after all. Sadly, in the last 4-5 years the store has gone so far downhill I think they might be digging an even deeper valley to fall down (it certainly isn't their grave as they are still in business). Upon walking in, you may panic and think an apocalypse occured without your knowledge. But fear not, the empty shelves are just because the manager doesn't put the store orders in. With that being 40% of his job, he certainly sounds passionate. The employees are also dedicated-though you may feel mixed emotions since they completely ignore you up until you are checking out-but its THEN that you feel them wanting to connect. Why else would they have incredibly personal conversations with one another while you are right in front of them handing them your debit card? Tell me all about your late night trysts while I'm buying mascara....puhlease! Something about should have worn protection? Way to upsell me, add condoms to my cart! Store hours are -don't let the 8am to 9pm sign on the door fool you- whenever the employees want them to be. Three times now I have been here when it is closed by 7:30 because (according to stragglers outside) they do not have enough employees to keep the store open. This isn't a franchise-is that even a thing?! Whatever, flexible hours, huge employee perk. Seriously though, I have no idea how corporate has kept this store open for so long. Either improve things entirely or close the store and let something more worthwhile take its place...like and empty lot.

over the past year, i was thinking that this store was shutting down. the store was run down and the shelves were poorly stocked. then one day i went in there and they had just painted and put down new carpeting. thats all fine and dandy, but the shelves need to be stocked. there is a lot of competition in the area and if they do not do a better job of stocking their shelves, i feel that they will be doomed to close.
