I called and wanted to ask about smog and when the phone picked up it was just hello, I asked Is this Chevron? in a short reply like he was upset to answer, was Yes, I asked are you open for smog today? Then he kinda of yelled at me in a Indian accent and could not understand a word he said, So I politely asked can you repeat what you just said? Then he hung up. I've been buying gas there for 5 years and this makes me want to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional, how hard could it be?

Was literally cleaning instead of letting me pay for gas inside, even though they're open

I went to 4 different gas stations this morning to put air into my tire, most had broken machines or didn't want to turn on air because I didn't put gas. This chevron the guy came outside and helped me. Thank you very much. He was helping a customer and still looked my way to give me attention. You really helped me get going on this crappy morning. Thank you once again.

I've been going to this gas station for years. I liked the former owner and the current owner seems to be ok. The station is clean and offers a smLl variety of snacks and drinks. I didn't notice if they sell cigarettes now cause izmett didn't sell them. They have air and water you don't have to pay for. Gas here is pricey !

I originally started coming here for car repair based on a recommendation. However both times I have brought my car in and tried to pick it up I have had issues with what I asked being done. The people (not the owner) are not helpful and quite rude. In addition both times my car have come back covered in bird droppings.

This is one of the FEW 'honest mechanics' left in San Jose. I was sent here by a friend in my local bike club after needing inexpensive/fair-priced car repair and am VERY HAPPY with the results. Izzet (the owner/manager) knows his cars. My husband accompanied me and got his truck quoted for spark plugs... Izzets Chevron has great mechanics and great prices. Another thing, you could literally EAT OFF THE FLOOR of the mechanics bay and the station; clean, no litter, and well taken care of. THAT tells you how the business is run: pride of ownership! I had 3 belts changed in my 02 Nissan Maxima for an UNHEARD of price...far below any dealer or chain car place would charge. I thought I had all the belts purchased (2), but apparently I did not have the Power Steering Belt. I dropped the car off, did a local bike ride, and in 2-3 hours the car was ready. I asked for the old parts, which were on my seat in a plastic bag. I was charged an additional $40 for the PS belt...and was not phoned, because I was not carrying a cell with me and did not leave a number to be reached. This price was reasonable, so I had no complaint. One of the belts is now loose and making noise (weeks later), so when I'm back in that area, I hope they will tighten it. Other than that...no complaints, no issues. Clean, fast work at a very FAIR price. I paid cash. They also take credit cards and possibly checks. I will return and hope others use this review and try it out for minor repairs first...and then move to more complicated stuff if you are happy.

I never understood why people who live right here and go onto Capitol or the Target area and do not get gas there! It is cheaper by like, soo many cents! Which in the end, count entirely. If you are heading towards that way on Capitol, definitely make it a point to stop at the Silver Creek one. Other wise, come here if you have to go the other direction or in emergencies. I only use the gas card so I do not know if the workers are friendly.

Nice enough for a gas station. sure chevron gas is expensive but they are always pretty well maintained which makes filling up your car a bonus. All in all I recommend this place for a fill up when you need one.

This location is actually in a big lot. Located across the street from Walgreens and Carl's Jr.... you'd expect to see at least 16 gas pumps but there's only 8 here. The side I was on was missing the windshield washer but i found one on the other "island". It's about 8c more expensive than the Shell/76 station down on White/Aborn.
