Love this place. Bought toilets and faucets multiple times here. Maybe I'm lucky but all staffs I've met so far were friendly and helpful.Last month we came for a replacement of our shower system. Chris helped us identify the brand of our old shower system, and after hearing the issue, he even suggested us that we try to fix it before buying a new one. He is very nice, patient and knowledgeable.

I wanted to shop for a specific faucet. Got to the door and was told I can only come in if I have an appointment. Really??? I just wanted to look to see if they even had what I wanted. Guy was pleasant, but its ridiculous. He said they could provide "better service" with appointments. How about its because they can't handle any sort of "crowd " beyond 1 customer. I'll take my business elsewhere. I had money in my pocket ready to buy. Why would they turn a paying customer away like that? Big red flag! Go elsewhere!

Shopping by appointment only, but next day appointments are often available. A representative will guide you through the large election of hardware and fixtures on display. For cabinet hardware, Belmont offers a 30 day return policy so you can take a sample home instead of having to eyeball it in the showroom. Some representatives specialize in only one department, so make sure you let them know what you are looking for (e.g., faucets, cabinet hardware, vessels, etc) at the time you make your appointment. Also check out upstairs for toilets, medicine cabinets, toilets, and sinks.

We went to look for vanities and they were so rude we ended up going elsewhere. Then we were in desperate need of matching handles and our designer went to them. Again, the absolutely rudest people possible. Besides the fact that the order was wrong, they are just not nice. I cannot believe people do business with them. They are not the only game in town! Never will I ever do business with them again

Belmont Hardware is a place to access high end kitchen, bath, door, etc hardware. They have a really good selection of many brands.I have a great salesperson and go to her every time. Could you find the same items cheaper online? Maybe but the price difference is minimal and what you get is the customer service. I have had issues with a particular brand of Plumbing fixtures I purchased and the sales rep was able to advocate with the manufacturer on my behalf. When things go wrong they step in and help. If I had purchased the same item online to save a few bucks I would have been out of luck. So I keep going back to Belmont Hardware for this main reason. When I have an issue they can assist me.They also provide good insight and feedback on products. When I share what I need, how we live and the type of requirements I'm looking for, then they steer me to the best brand for that case. I also rely on their insight across many customers - for example, have they gotten feedback on quality issues or how customers like a product after they have installed and used it for awhile.Post-covid restrictions, you must have an appt to enter. It feels like this may be annoying but honestly if you plan ahead it's not a big deal and I get 1:1 service so the salesperson isn't getting pulled in many directions during my time slot.Pick-ups are easy. Doesn't require an appt. They have a loading dock in the back and once you are informed your items are ready you can go there during the hours they are opened and pick up.

Referred to me but they only serve by appointment. Drove 12 miles to get there and then called to tell them I was out front but they wouldn't let me in. The person answering my call was inside and made the appointment with HER. Not going back. BTW I spent $1,700 later that day on exterior lock sets.

If there was an option to give a zero star, I would have. Customer service does not exist here, and on top of that, the quality of their products is sub-standard. They messed up our order, missing items, wrong items, sub-quality leaky items. Stay away from a lady called Michelle Carcot at this store. When we called at the time of installation of trim, after spending good 2 hours looking for missing items, instead of acknowledging she messed up the order, she went on to accuse our plumber that he did not install the drain assembly that we purchased. She took a condescending, discriminatory, and racist tone and said " the plumber installed a $99 drain assembly from Home Depot." I myself handed over the drain assembly that was given to us by her to the plumber and he installed it in front of me. The whole shower is standing as an eye sore on which we spent $$$$$. A $4000 faucet came with a leaky brass part. The thermostatic valve came without the required screws. The shower drain assembly and the drain cover do not match. A faucet connector trim is missing. You will find beautiful hardware at many other stores in the area. Don't waste your time and money here.

Ok, so I understand the appointment only rule when we were in full pandemic mode. I recently stopped by with my wife since Covid restrictions have been lifted and we and noticed they still require appointments. The door was locked and staff were inside with no other customers in sight and they completely ignored us and acted like we were not even there. If only these people knew the significant hardware budget I'm working with on my project. So stupid me tried to call the number while they were looking at us and somebody answered and it would be a week or so until they could accommodate and were not at all friendly about it. Am I trying to get in some exclusive nightclub here? I have tried hard to support local business but this company is missing the mark completely. They say they keep their doors locked and only have limited appointments to keep their service at a high level. Really? How did they ever do business before the pandemic then? Unfortunately im taking my money and ordering online since they are open 24x7 and free returns. Good luck with your stupid appointment only policy and staying in business. Might be surviving with the Bay Area bubble but there will be a downturn and will wish you might have not been so arrogant. Must be a family owned business since I see a constant pattern in the reviews and zero action taken.

One star is just for the fact that they have a good selection of product. Service, however, is just one star. I have been there several times during the pandemic. Even with an appointment, I was usually kept waiting at the locked front door. Attention during the visits was inconsistent; sometimes helpful and other times dismissive. For follow-up information, I have sent emails and left voice mails that were unanswered after several days. I believe they were open on Saturday before the pandemic. Why can't they now use that day to respond to customers. I'm almost finished with my current remodel project. I won't use Belmont at all for my next one.

Wow, you have to make an appointment and wait weeks to get in and when you do, they are rude beyond belief. They were not at all helpful with advice and just tried to sell me something other than what I came in to buy. What happened to this place?!? They used to be the go-to for cabinet hardware. I came home and told my husband that I just had a "Pretty Woman" moment. He offered to go back with me but there's no way I'm giving them my money. There are plenty of other places you can spend your money.

Exceptional service from Michelle (?) at Belmont Hardware. In short, I was looking for a part for a faucet that was purchased elsewhere. Though Belmont didn't have what I was looking for in stock (and products it sells are far higher in quality than what I had), what impressed me most was how she came down to my level (she was on the shipping dock), took care to really understand my needs, and explained various options I could consider, including contacting the manufacturer. Overall, I just felt really cared for, both as a possible customer and person. Our interaction made my day. Thank you Michelle.

I will keep shopping there because oh my gosh it’s like hardware Disneyland! I’ve been there twice for remodel jobs. First time they were extremely helpful from start to finish. I was looking for latches instead of knobs for kitchen cabs and even though the brand who carried them wasn’t the most expensive (which would have been fine), they did not try to upsell me but helped me choose what would complete my vision (three years later the latches are still getting compliments!). Last year I went in in the morning looking for shower fixtures for a bath remodel. I rolled out of bed and threw on my old college hoodie and then parked my 13 year old Jeep Wrangler in front of the store at the same time another customer pulled in driving a BMW and looking way more pulled together. Guess which one of us was greeted immediately? I had to wait upwards of 10 minutes before anyone was free and even then had to go up to the girl at the desk to ask for help. I asked about two different styles and she told me she would run estimates for each. When she returned she was all “hush hush” in showing me the numbers and before I could even respond she said, “You might find some less expensive options elsewhere.” I did go elsewhere and spent my money in Willow Glen instead.Bottom line: it’s an amazing store with customer service that can be a little judgy. Hoping they will take a page out of Nordstrom’s playbook and treat every person who walks in as an equally valued customer regardless of how they read the externals.

Very disappointed. Drove all the way out there to only be turned away because it's by appointment only. Next appointment available was 12/6. Unfortunately that didn't work. Didn't even think that we'd have to call. Will not return. We had a whole house project.
