I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service at this location. The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. It's important to maintain a respectful and professional tone when addressing customers, regardless of the situation. If a package is not packed according to their standards, the appropriate response would be to politely request that the customer return to the store, rather than raising their voice in front of other customers. This behavior is unacceptable, and I felt disrespected during the interaction. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve encountered such treatment at this location.

Upsetting aggressive behavior from the gentleman working the counter today. Seems to be a personal issue best dealt with at home or with professionals. Will not return, felt unsafe.

Was recently here to mail cards to two different states. The guy who was there last Monday morning was extremely rude and condescending. Despite me being explicit about which envelope was going to which state, he mixed the labels (and I'm not convinced it wasn't on purpose) and the cards went to the wrong places. Now the recipients have to go through the extra step of re-mailing their cards. Would not recommend this UPS location.

They started to charge exorbitant fees for releasing packages for which an Access Point delivery was requested. Also staff was often disrespectful and downright rude

This place is awful and don’t bother to stop in if you are a person of color…. They ignore you and skip you in line. The place Smells bad and the person who’s always working there, has a horrible attitude!!! Worst of the Worst!

Just moved into the neighborhood and have had to go to this UPS multiple times in the last week or two. The clerk named Timothy is always friendly, efficient, and professional. He makes the experience easy and quick.

On numerous occasions the staff has been condescending and rude. There are many other UPS ship franchises nearby…don’t go, you will leave unhappy! Try The Postal Chase on Fillmore and Union.

Mario was really helpful with a number of notarized documents, helping me understand the instructions and get the documents scanned and printed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly every time I visit!

the worst. my experiences here at the Fillmore St. location:1. paying 2 dollars for a small piece of tape to close a package because the clerk said it was not secure; it was a soft mailer that was already sealed.2. one time, i yielded and purchased an entire roll of tape from their retail. another patron came in and helped himself to the tape when i set it down for a split second to close my box. when i said "hey man, i paid for this? you need to talk to him if you need tape" and pointed to the store clerk, the clerk shrugged and pretty much acted like it wasn't their business.3. when asking questions to ensure i had appropriate customs paperwork when dropping off an international shipment, was spoken to in a way that can only be described as being spoken to like a toddler.4. they have 'regulars' in the store obstructing the counter, that, based on their very gregarious conversation, are not conducting business. The store is small, i understand lots of people in the neighborhood have PO boxes and like to 'hang out' here. The employees who work here make no effort to control lines or flow of traffic. As a patron, you're coming in -sometimes with arms full of boxes- and maneuvering your way through an already small store. If you ask one of the 'regulars' for space or if they're in line, they speak to you at about the same level of condescension as the employees.After several instances of leaving feeling terrible when I'm just trying to run an errand, I decided this location did not need to be the one i do business with, especially when there are other (multiple) UPS stores in the neighborhood that work to ensure everyone feels welcomed.

I’ve been to other UPS stores and typically use the one near my home (East Bay). But a necessary trip to SF brought me to the Fillmore branch and glad I did. Mario processed my transaction with admirable efficacy. His caliber of customer service is of towering strength and should be inherent to all branches.
