Great quality product and that store is always helpful. My problem is the customer care service... I bought a flawed bag, sent it back from repair (took a few weeks) and the same issue reoccurred. They couldn't fix the issue and the way they kicked in the warranty was just very stingy... I had a replacement for a bag worth 90$ less, they refused to give me store credit to make it up for it and it turns out I already had the replacement model... just annoying post-sale support.

I hadn't been here in a long time... damn covid. The company seems to have gone through a significant reorganization. I have (and cherish) many of their bags, both for travel, and getting around SF. The quality is still amazing, and the service from staff was exceptional. Timbuk2 is a great brand, and they continue to stand behind their products. I took in my small messenger bag for a new liner and velcro, and they are repairing it for a very modest fee. I love this company and will continue to sing their praises!

Lifetime Warranty is non existent with my experience, they charge you for fix or give you a percentage off a new bag ( giving them more money)

Because customized bags are not returnable, I wanted to get it right. From clarification of sizing to color verification. The phone support team member in San Jose, CA was friendly. He helped with sizing and suggested I visit a store in person, which I did. I went to the Livermore location and was met with professionalism, attentiveness, insight and knowledge. I color matched my design using the swatches but was unable to create an image because the computer was down. Regrettably, while customizing my bag at home, some colors on the website did not reflect the actual colors of the swatches I had seen in the store. I called the Livermore store and shared my concern. Cynthia, went above and beyond what I would have expected from a store employee. She heard my concerns; travel and the need to see "true" colors, then sent a photo of the colored swatches I preferred. The bag was delivered on time, if not a few days earlier. It feels durable, has plenty of room, lots of pockets and I'm enjoying it.

I've waited years to get to the San Francisco store after having their bags for about 20 years. It was great to get to actually handle them and see everything.To be honest I expected it to be bigger. But there are only so many models they make. And the bags aren't THAT big.

I have a VERY old Timbuk2 bag that I love! The outside is still in perfect shape, but over the years the inside lining got dried up and started to flake off. I put in a repair request with photos and got a reply that they could fix it! I dropped it off at the SF store and in literally LESS than a week, the bag was beautifully repaired like new and delivered to my doorstep! The skill of their repair staff is unsurpassed! I very much appreciate their expertise and fast turnaround. Highly recommend such a high quality company! Heartfelt thank you to the staff.

I ordered a custom messenger bag.It turns out that they've shrunk significantly in size since their original messenger bag dimensions.So the shrunken custom bag cost me 229 USD and on delivery I had a 59 GBP import duty unpleasant surprise to pay.It might be nice to warn foreign buyers about this before they buy.
