Their gear survived (waxed canvas back packs) survived my wife's PhD and many terribly cold Minnesota Winters. The hoodies for her great, and I picked a nice rain jacket on deal. The staff here are super friendly, and I hope they get a new location quick!

Disappointed by customer service. Asked a very simple question about what's available in store and got put in a queue and a set of answers to other questions I didn't ask. One of the things they linked me to unnecessarily and completely unrelated to what I asked is their return policy, which made me realize their policy for returns is garbage, they won't take returns that don't still have the tags on them. Obviously you couldn't even see how it hangs or wash it with the tags still on - and even if you do have the tags on they want a flat fee to accept a return - this is just silly.
The clothes that I have bought here (I have about 15 items, mostly pants and some shirts) have been good actually. They wear well. They don't do the hemming themselves but did refer to a local place that does it well. The shirts I wasn't a fan of and stopped buying after two. I know the bags are loved by a lot of people but I haven't tried one and given the great service I get when I try to ask a question I suspect I wont.

I have a Fitzroy backpack that’s had 10 years of daily use, seen lots of airplane travel, had outdoor use in different climates, and survived a massive interior beef stew spill without holding any odor afterwards. It has protected my laptop while bike riding in freezing Alaska as well as humid South Florida. It’s still waterproof and there is nothing broken, ripped, or wrong with it whatsoever. Great product.

Got a bag from them 10 years ago, with a clean it still looks new despite me taking it absolutely everywhere including multi day hikes. I lost a buckle and they gave me a new one for free. Really can't rate them high enough for the quality and design of their products.

Amazing retail space! I have wanted to visit MW for years after using their Rhake bag (best bag I have ever owned). I finally got to swing by and it was the best experience! It was super cool to see all the gear in person and I had a wonderful customer service experience. I’ll be visiting every time I’m in SF in the future!

Love the messenger bag, love the black XXXX hat...... but the Store hours are whack! I'm always in town over the weekend and never able to get there when it's actually open! Be open all weekend PLEASE.

I have been using the MW Rambler for over 2 years now and hands down it has been the best backpack I have ever used. I use it for everyday carry, in heavy rain, traveling and commuting, and it’s unbeatable. The building quality is top notch and even after 2 years it still looks fresh. The fact you can double the size with the zipper and straps has never left me wanting for more space.Recently I noticed the inner liner of one of the pockets started to break down, so I contacted customer support and they were kind enough to replace it under their warranty policy. Shipping was quick and I got a brand new backpack several days later.All in all I think it is absolutely worth the investment as not only does Mission Workshop equipment delivers on its promise, customer service over delivers as well.

After a lot research earlier this year I purchased the Speedwell and Rhake for work and bike commute. You can see the quality in design and materials from the moment you see and feel the bag. I am looking forward to using them both as my daily bags. I was given a discount code for one of them and found one online in the Nick of time! However, a great design and quality bag is worth the price. Delivery from San Fran to Sydney was quick via DHL!
