Prices are a lil up, but this spot is also super convenient. Owner knows his stuff, and gets put thru the ringer by some less than reputable folks. But if you need a quick...whatever. This is a prime convenience store. A lil old school, but in the good ways. Sam runs the place, and hes the f***ing real type. The spot to hop into if youre a Hastings student too.

This guy consistently tries to overcharge people when ringing them up. If you're paying with cash, he'll tell you a different number from what's on the register to try and get more money. If you're getting some alcohol, he'll ring it up as a more expensive one. I called him out on it and mentioned he rang up a Sam Adams lager instead of the one I actually was buying and he said I was wrong. He insisted he was giving me a discount by ringing up a cheaper beer and then condescendingly asked, "you don't want a discount? I'm giving you a dollar off." Sure, it's only a few dollars, but it's such a shady business practice. F*** off.
