Very nice selection, but you’re going to a tourist trap shop. Be aware of this - you’re paying for convenience, and for shopping in a tourism neighborhood. I paid $23 for a 24 exposure roll of Kodak Gold 200, which is approximately a 150-200% markup from B&H.

Please don’t be a Karen and try to compare their prices to eBay. They’re a local,family-run shop. Their prices were reasonable considering I was able to see the camera in person. They were really patient with me, helping to compare different models and specs so that I got the model I wanted within my budget. They also helped me load the film and go through the settings. To summarize: They’re super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. You’re paying a little extra for personalized assistance and peace of mind.

Seller wanted $19 for a roll of Kodak Gold 35mm filmThat is an absolutely ridiculous price. In addition, people were insulted because they asked how such a high price came about. He also wanted the same price ($19) for a roll of Portra 400, which makes absolutely no sense. This store is absolutely underground!

I have to say I got a $150 tripod last minute as I needed one for an event … tripod quality was horrible … never used such a flimsy thing …. Really Really disappointed … it should not have to be this way … it endangers the gear we put in the tripod …. $150 retail online you can get a VERY nice tripod and that means they could easily make 50% on an at least SOLID tripod …. This thing was an accident waiting to happen, horrible button quality, just gah … tripod probably cost them 25$ … next time I will go to a reputable store and check reviews …. I wish you guys the best but please focus on customer experience and product quality rather than just getting things out the door …. So many negative reviews can’t be a coincidence!

I'm a hobbyist photographer and went in here to buy a lens or two.TL;DR: Don't go here. Prices are sky-high and the dude running the place is rude.I will say I messed up by not asking the prices up-front as I would've walked away immediately. After about 10 mins of testing out a couple lenses I selected one and asked for the price. Now I know the price ranges for these lenses as I only shoot with vintage lenses and he gave me a price about 3-4x market rate based off of eBay.And in case you don't know eBay charges sellers so when you take that into account the dude was charging me about 4-5x market rate.Once he (the owner, I assume) told me the price I was about to leave when he asked me to make him an offer. He said all his lenses are clean (they weren't) and don't have any haze or fungus (they do have haze and fungus). I made him an offer based on market rates as well as the condition of the lens and he was not happy. He rudely said I don't know the current pricing (I do, I have several vintage lenses) and that COVID have made prices go up.And finally he said he would not have entertained me had I told him the prices I was expecting up front. He wanted me to pay the price of a brand new auto-focus lens for a vintage manual lens with fungus and haze.

I'll start off my review as a warning. This place looks and feels extremely tourist trappy. It feels like things were designed to squeeze you for every dollar possible. I bought a camera and film, nothing else. I had the luxury of being an informed buyer, and I think they sensed that as they quickly came down on the price they had on the camera I was looking at.I bought a Pentax MG and overpaid a bit over what you can get them for on ebay because it was in hand and I could see first hand it was functioning and the condition of the lens. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the camera had an issue no more than 10 minutes after I left the store. A piece of loose metal was flopping around the viewfinder and I returned to the store and asked him what the problem was. He said he wasn't actually sure what it was but promptly replaced the camera with a Pentax K1000, the camera I was actually looking for. The K1000 was actually in great condition and after all was said and done I came out about where Id be had I gone with an ebay seller without the potential hiccups that can incur.I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, but I am also a professional videographer and have some decent knowledge of the stills camera market. If you don't, I would highly recommend staying away as you will probably get taken advantage of.
