I went into second chance surf shop today and I had the most wonderful experience. First I called in and the owner was super kind and helpful. When I came in he helped me find the perfect wetsuit for me and goggles to match. I would highly recommend this place!

This place has tons of great stuff. Just bought a longboard from here recently and it rides great. Great selection of used wet suits available. They also have a ton of quality surf and skate boards, and scuba and snorkeling equipment. Tons of apparel also. I’ve gotten more things here than I can remember, and the prices are always super low compared to other shops in the area. If you’re looking to get good equipment at a super fair price, check here first. Super nice staff as well.

Pretty neat place nestled between sunset cliffs and Mission Beach/Bay. I just happen to stumble upon it and I’m glad that I did. They had the goodies that I needed for a reasonable price. It definitely served me well and got me out of a jam, so I had to leave them 5 stars. In fact, the customer service is what made the experience epic. I appreciate the hospitality and we will meet again soon.

WOW! One of the best experiences I've had in a store and a long time. Owner is absolutely amazing! super helpful and let me take one of the skim boards out for the day super super nice lady would recommend 10 out of 10!!!

Absolutely thrilled with my recent experience at Second Chance Sports! Jeff, the store owner's friendliness and helpfulness made shopping a pleasure. This place is full of various surfboards and other awesome stuff! I got a board here with fins, leash, and wax for $200. The board is in great shape (shown in picture) it has one ding on the top that is repaired. Most boards in the shop also had all their dings repaired or were labeled clearly. They also sell snorkels, wetsuits, boogie boards, fins, those towel ponchos… totally recommend.Buy used!! yay!! save the earth!

This place is cool. I've been going here for years to get sporting equipment for my kids, skate stuff, surf stuff. they are good with trades and they sometimes have some surfboards that are gems that roll through. Fun to look around. great selection of wetsuits, surfboards, snowboards and a ton of stuff.

I love this store not just because of the wide variety of supplies they have for various sports, hobbies, and activities but the staff and service is always friendly. I'm still fairly new to SD and the staff always helps me find whatever I need. I love that they offer 3 balls for $1! Overall, because all of my experiences with the service, selection, and value have been top tier!
