AC did not function. Local criminals were hanging around and breaking into rooms.Seems there's an excess of people looking to abuse and scam veterans here.NOT vet friendly. Beware.

Staying in the heart of San Diego costs a lot, so to save a little we chose this somewhat secluded motel, near a highway exit. The structure would need a modernization, especially the common areas, where there are stairs there are cracks in the wall. The room is classic motel room, with a nice large bed and a small bathroom with tub. Overall it seemed like a fairly clean room. The big problem, but anyone staying in a motel near the highway should anticipate this, is the constant noise of cars throughout the night. No soundproofing. If you are a light sleeper, it is definitely not a motel that I would recommend. Breakfast is included in the price, it is very sparse, it includes a waffle maker, yogurt, milk, coffee and cereals. Price too high for the quality offered.Rooms: Zero soundproofing

There was nothing special about this hotel. There was some cleanliness in the rooms, but the service was mediocre. The owner/manager is a nightmare; I spilled water on the floor, outside, and she got super angry. Despite apologizing several times, I had offered to clean it up, she continued to get angry. She charged my room for the water I spilled outside by mistake. They have a pet fee that isn't listed on the website, they didn't notify us about it, I have two service dogs. There is no doubt I need them, and they told me service dogs are welcome. I guess stay here if you like highway robbery.My total stay was $700, for the quality inn, too much.–There is no lack of information in this comment. The lady at the front desk told us that the owner would call us back or that she would relay the message, but we never heard back. They never called or even emailed. You know what you did.

Great for a night or longer. Just off the freeway, so very convenient!Rooms: Clean and upgraded, quiet air conditioners! A plus after the last place we stayed!

I was hesitant about staying here due to the area but honestly my experience was positive. As I was visiting San Diego and didn’t wanted to pay tons of money for a hotel, this was a good place to sleep and showerClean and quiet !!!!Rooms: Clean and enough towelsTV worked fine

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.Rooms are neet and clean.Neighborhood is a 3 out of 5.Quiet and secure, right off I-5.Nearby activities: Sea World is a 12 minute drive .Zoo is 8 minutes.Beach on Coronado Island is 8 minutes and easy free parking.

We have stayed here several times. It is convenient for us because National City is my home town.It is a six minute drive to downtown San Diego. The freeway ramp is just around the corner.The staff are so friendly.

Bad location - right beside highway and another road, noisy! Poor service! Room smells so bad, packed breakfast bought from grocery cost less than $2. Don’t choose it!

The rooms were decent. They had a mini fridge and microwave, which was nice. The hot and cold waters were reversed on multiple rooms. The toilet seat would not stay put. The breakfast was packaged Jimmy Dean sandwiches, yogurt, and other prepackaged microwave food, so not very good. The OJ and apple juice was gross. The location was not very nice, but the gas station nearby was helpful. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay there again.

I really enjoyed staying at the quality inn I wish I had pictures because our room was clean, bug free, spacious soft beds clean towels alot of towels. The tv was great nice channels 4 pillows on each bed we had two beds. They kept the grounds safe and clean. Wonderful customer service wonderful housekeeping. I do recommend anyone to say here even for a day or longer.

Worst night sleep in all my days staying at a INN. I woke up so stiff, my wife had to use a dolly to move out of the bed. (Not really) but you get what im saying. I've slept on county jail bunks that were WAY more comfortable than what they have for a bed and pillow in this establishment. Parking is cramped and not enough so some guest have to park out on the adjacent road. "Quality" Inn? Not so much.
