Mark/Alex & Steve are all very knowledgeable when it comes to Porsche ( of any year, make or model ). Great customer service and great offering advice and finding vintage parts. Mark rebuild my 3.0 motor with high end performance parts and it puts out incredible horsepower. I would highly recommend this shop and great prices too.

This is an honest shop that really takes care of their customers. I towed in a Boxster I had recently purchased as it had developed a coolant leak. Luckily it was a minor issue and they were able to fix the issue quickly. They didn't even charge me! Thanks Performance Independent!

Took my '97 911 (993) in to Performance Independent to have the alternator belt replaced after the old one disintegrated while I was merging onto the freeway. I called Mark and he knew right away what the problem was and said to bring it when convenient. I knew of their reputation, as my friend hired them to restore his '78 911 Targa. They did an outstanding job so I knew I was in good hands. Well, I was not disappointed. I brought the car in and Mark's son Alex went to work on my baby immediately. 1 hour later, I was driving off a happy camper. What was surprising was how reasonable the cost was to get the work done. These guys have Porsche in their blood and you can see the passion they have in their craft. I will ONLY take my vintage 911 to them going forward. If you're smart, you will too. Thanks, guys!

Could not be happier, this shop knows it's business and don't charge and arm and a leg for it. Upgraded my 1976 911 with desperate need of service and were fast and very informative. Several people recommended the shop and now I know why...Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am so happy I could burst. I took my 79 911 in for a minor repair. I mentioned to Mark, the owner, I wanted new seats. when I came to pick up "my baby", she had two new seats. I was so excited. I have been out to sit in my car twice since I brought her home. Great prices, AMAZING service!!! If you drive a Porsche and you love it like I do, take it to Mark and Alex for service... you will NOT be disappointed.

When I owned a Porsche Cayman S, I used to take it here all the time.The prices were very fair, roughly 1/3 or 1/2 of the quoted dealership prices. And the work was great. Kept my Cayman running like the day I bought it.I’ll have to see if I can find pictures from the shop. But here are a few of my old ride.Additional Info — The ride height and rally black accents were done at a different shop in Midway near Morena Blvd. I actually left my previous Porsche mechanic because they gave me a hard time about doing minor modifications.
