KZ is amazing, they helped us design an engagement ring and wedding band from scratch. They were so helpful in listening to us to understand what we wanted and proposed some amazing touches that made the ring truly a one of a kind. I can't say enough good things about KZ, they were so patient and personable. I really appreciate the time and effort they put in to make the ring perfect.

I only went here to have a watch battery replaced, but after talking with the owner's wife and looking at their beautiful handcrafted jewelry selection, I will be taking a sentimental piece (that a different nearby jeweler messed up) to KZ for repair, as well as purchasing all my pieces from them in the future.
What a beautiful store and a wonderful experience!

A$240 to resize 2 rings. Maybe this is the going rate now. The repair turned out great except the rings were not attached and fell apart quickly. They did not charge to repair it and all is good. The woman at the counter was lovely, but she spent my visit telling me about her recent trip and travails. I am al-about-me, so I wanted to get a word in. Haha. I'm not a big jewelry buyer so I will grade this one as a solid, professional establishment.

Great atmosphere with a very part of the family feel. Came in and asked my question then presented my proposition and listened to their reasonable objections. Resulting in a very acceptable alternate proposition resulting in a lucrative buy/sell transaction. Very nice and happy customer.

I recently took my wedding ring to KZ Jewlery Designs in Rancho Bernardo. The diamond had numerous inclusions and when I had taken the ring to Unicorn in Rancho Bernardo they would not touch it for a repair of the croaked claw. KZ not removed my original diamond without it breaking apart but I ordered a new diamond and my ring came out gorgeous. The service I received was outstanding and information regarding my old diamond and it's fragility was honest. I plan on taking my original diamond back to them and having it set into a beautiful necklace. I highly recommend Rose and Kam at KZ Jewelry Designs and am so glad to have found a place I can trust.

The post on one of my wife's gold earrings had broken off, and after checking Yelp for a nearby jeweler who had very good ratings I found KZ in Rancho Bernardo. They had excellent ratings so I thought I'd give them a try. I walked in and showed them the good and bad earring, and asked if this was the kind of repair that they did (maybe a "solder job" I said ...). Rose explained that it would probably need to be lasered. Kamyar asked when I needed it, and he said that he could have it done in 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. When I returned in 10 minutes it was done perfectly (and I think that this repair even cut into Kamyar's lunch time). Excellent repair, excellent price, very friendly people. I'm sold. Rose explained when I picked the earrings up that they specialize in custom-made/designed jewelry. I'm sure we'll try that next.

I love jewelry but I have a hard time trusting jewelers. KZ Jewelry was recommended to me by someone I trust and he was right! To get to the point, my original wedding ring obviously meant a lot to me. After years it lost afew diamonds and I went to a larger place to repair it. They destroyed it. I'm not a hater so I won't mention the name. Every time I looked at my beautiful ring I felt sick. We've been married 45 years and I missed my ring. Bought my destroyed ring to Rose ( amazing woman). Hoping , that she could understand what I wanted but with realistic expectations. We'll, I was wrong, I picked my ring up and it was PERFECT!!! I cried! I have patronized KZ since 1985, first Kam the father & more recently his son Kam. You can count on them for creativity, quality merchandise & work, & excellent customer service. I trust them completely. They are not a chain store & I know people from as far away as Florida who seek out KZ.

This lovely couple recently created a necklace for me. I came back after a few months because I wanted a slight tweak. They kindly made the tweak free of charge and even added a bigger clasp to make the necklace easier to put on. This is the kind of small business we want to support. The jeweler has a long career of design and can create the piece of your dreams.
