Family holiday vacation was coming up and Arturo took care of it with great attention to detail. After getting both the front and back brakes checked he requested that I go buy the parts needed and came back to get it installed. Great attitude, customer service and affordable pricing. Trash. He's cheap for a reason. Torques stuff down insanely tight, Caused my brakes to leak, ruined my strut tower brace, did work to my car that wasn't necessary and didn't tell me.I also can't get my brake caliper bracket off because he torqued it down so much that i can't get it off with an 18" breaker bar. Thanks

Before that day and up to that point, every time that I would have to slow down and get ready to stop, my brakes would be squeaking. When I came to Cougars Auto Repair,they had me come up and stop a few times. After the mechanic had me do it one more time, he automatically knew what it the problem was. He said it was my front brakes. So after finding out what make and model of my vehicle, and year,he told me about a certain type of brakes to get and the place to get it from, which was AutoZone. So after I did a quick errand,I went to AutoZone to buy the recommended type that the mechanic told me about, and then came back to Cougars. When he finished replacing the brakes and after paying, when I left there, the brakes were "ALL GOOD "! There were no more squeaking. So Cougars Auto Repair was the "BOMBDIGGITY "! That means it was pretty good. Now what they should do is to offer Military Discounts as well. Otherwise, keep on doing that, Cougars.

I've been coming here with Arturo for many years now and he is the most honest and kind mechanic in town. I 100% recommend him and would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a fast and reliable service. His prices are reasonable and not to mention he tells you exactly what you need to fix without having to worry about him scaling you Or it being something else. I've had a bunch of different work done to my car such as; water pump, oil change, alignment and brakes. Arturo will forever be my go to mechanic!

"Buddy, don't worry about it."Arturo's famous last words. If you have anything more serious than oil or filter changes go else where. My truck needed to be restarted after a year of sitting. 1. "You need a new battery."Bought a new battery. 2. "You need to get a temp permit so I can park it on the street." Got a permit good for 3 weeks.3. "I'll get your truck as soon as this green truck is gone." 1.5 weeks. 4. Green truck gone 1 week, my truck hadn't been touched. 5. "Hey buddy I'll get your truck work on it tomorrow." 3 times. No work done at all. I have 4 days left on permit all he says is "I'll work on it tomorrow."I was a sucker. Don't be sucker. Go someplace else.
