I visited this location recently and didn't like the location or the parking situation. It's literally off the freeway and it's just a dusty parking lot. Inside I requested a tour and they told me to fill out a waiver on the computer which I did, but one of the computers didn't work so I had to go to the other one. Once I got to the front, a skinny Latina girl with long hair, I forgot her name, gave me a tour. She barely knew anything about the location and kept telling me how great the other locations were and what they offered. The tour of the gym area wasn't fully accurate. She told me that it was a hot steam room multiple times, but it didn't look right to me so I went inside and it was actually a dry sauna. How do you work at this location and NOT know that you have a dry sauna? She kept calling it a steam room which it was not, she kept saying there was water in it, but there wasn't. She also didn't want to show me the bathroom or the locker room, and I had to request to see it. It's very cheap so I was thinking about joining anyway just so I can get out of the house but honestly, I don't have the mental capacity to deal with stupid people every single day. Might as well just pay the extra money and go to a designated spa/sauna to get my red light therapy and sauna/steam room/salt room. At least at those locations, everyone sounds like they know what they're talking about. I'll just keep working out at my apartment . On my way to check out all my cryo.

I have been coming to this gym for 4 months now and everything is top notch. These past recent days while I have been running on the treadmill there is a certain area where the heater is blasting. The area overlooking the freeway you can just feel the heater pouring down on you. Not sure if the workers are trying to make us faint but oh my lord is it hot. Please turn it down. Im sure there was a review about this also

I've been coming here for over a year and I love this gym. It's not too crowded and not filthy HOWEVER, WTF is going on with the ventilation recently? Especially by the freeweight turf area. It's like they just turned off their AC and shut all the windows. It's so disgustingly hot and humid that there is legit condensation on the windows when you are in there now. It's never ever been like this. Please for the love of god turn on the AC

I have nothing bad to say about this gym! They have everything you need and more. There is plenty of squat racks, free weights, machines, and cardio options here. The building looks old from the outside but don't let that fool you. Everything is fairly updated in this gym and very clean. The crowd is respectful and they have multiple amenities such as a smoothie bar. Parking is a bit strange, your best bet is parking in the upper lot in the back and walking through the 2nd floor to the gym. A lot of the parking directly in front of the building is mainly for retail and says 30 minutes only.

Milan and Kenya of Redwood Personal Training were awesome. By simply applying some tips and a demo they gave me , I upped my workout several notches . I was stuck in a plateau before meeting them, and they showed me some key changes to make to my workout that made me sweat and really feel that I accomplished way more in muscle training in just a few minutes - compared to much more time that I had put in on my own. I burned more calories, felt less hungry and felt more of a sense of accomplishment. I heartily recommend them to anyone who want to get fitter and more confident. Bob Riger

So on the Internet, it still claims that the Mission Valley location as well as the Encinitas location for ChuzeFitness have pools that is not true so look for a gym on the Internet that has a pool, but make sure you call them before joining. You. Don't want to be let down.

I've tried out all gyms in San Diego. Chiusa fitness has the cleanest locations hands down. Downside is that it's more packed for the same reason cause it's so clean

Super chilled and well equipped gym. The amount of floor space is impressive, the gym is huge and has pretty much every machine you would need. It's also very well priced compared to other gyms which is a bonus.I haven't had a bad interaction in the gym, the gym users are decent and the staff are very good. Helpful, friendly and always say hello to you. There are lockers for your bags, massage chairs to relax, traditional and infrared sauna rooms and a few tanning booths. The parking situation isn't bad either, there is loads of parking at the front by the shops, on the street and at the rear of the gym.The ONLY minor downside is that the dumbbells are maxed at 75lbs, otherwise no other complaints!

So far so good. Gym and equipment are new. The staff is friendly and helpful but best of all the gym is kept clean.

For the price, this is a great gym. Most in the area are at least $10/ month more than here. Of course, I’ve only been twice and the gym hasn’t been crowded. I imagine I’d give 4 stars during peak because it is limited in some free weight equipment and lacks a pool. The smoothie bar looks great, I’ll likely try it before I commit to full-time here. I’m on a free 7-day pass right now. The space has great air conditioning and the flow of the space is pretty solid too.

I went to this gym at the Mission Valley location for the first time today. It is a nice gym. It was neat and relatively clean. I liked that they have plenty of wipes and a place where they make protein drinks. What I didn't like was that they have too few dumbbells and the heaviest dumbbell they have is only 75 lbs. and it was too warm inside, which is not cool (sorry for the pun) because it is summer.

The 70s rock and roll music is completely outdated. Play something that everyone can relate to. More updated music. Other than outdated music it's a good place to work out and train

Some staff members are unhelpful, but I am impressed how well this gym equipped! Hydro massage is my favorite part of any workout routine. I didn’t try out any classes there yet, but sure it will be fun. Got premium membership and happy to take care of myself and stay sporty ✊

Clean, well-run facility with friendly staff. Well ventilated, so you don't have the feeling of choking in an atmosphere of stale sweat (like SOME gyms I could name!). Diverse membership, men and women, folks of all ages and physical levels. Easy-going atmosphere free of bullying, competition, or showing off. Something gets broken? They tag it out and get a mechanic called in to get it fixed and operational in just a day or two. This is a good place for your workout.
