My experience with Cartune was awesome. 3500 miles on my new clutch no issues. My 350z csc decided to go out and they were very accommodating. They contacted the local, coveted JWT for my clutch and flywheel and had them ready for when my csc delete arrived. They addressed all of my concerns and the estimations for time and price were spot on. If you have aftermarket needs or just a good honest shop I have found mine!

They had my alignment done really quick and with a print to show exact specs... I requested certain camber angles and toe angels; yet, they have it dialed in w/ zero tollerance left and right...I have never felt a car turn in so quick and rotate as well as this car with a proper performance alignment.

David and the guys at CarTune got me in and out on a large amount of work. I was amazed at the speed they maintained throughout the repair/upgrade. the price was very fair, and the communication was amazing the entire time they had my car. it's tough to find a good mechanic in San Diego, but these guys fit the bill! I've already returned for work on the daily driver for my girlfriend, and I will most certainly be back with my Z28 again for more goodies to be installed. you can trust these guys with your car.

Great shop, Everyone in the shop is knowledgeable and friendly. Had some annoying issues with smog testing and they helped immensely. Grateful to have found a shop I trust, and would highly recommend to anyone with a car they care about. Fair pricing, great communication during repairs, honest and professional.

I recently visited Cartune Auto Repair for a second opinion on a brake issue that had been incorrectly diagnosed by a national chain auto shop. My experience with Cartune was nothing short of excellent, and I can confidently say that they have earned my trust and future business. Upon the recommendation of the previous shop, I was told that my rear brakes needed extensive repairs, including the replacement of the brake booster or brake master cylinder. Skeptical of the diagnosis, I decided to seek a second opinion and scheduled a brake check appointment with Cartune. David was extremely accommodating and got me scheduled for an appointment at my earliest convenience. Upon inspection by the technician at Cartune, it was revealed that the issue with my brakes was simply a result of the previous shop's incorrect installation of new rear shoes and drums. Instead of recommending unnecessary replacements, the Cartune team determined that a simple adjustment was all that was needed to rectify the problem. I appreciated the honesty and expertise displayed by the Cartune team. They saved me from unnecessary expenses. After the adjustment, my brakes worked perfectly fine, and I left Cartune Auto Repair with a sense of relief and gratitude. I highly recommend Cartune Auto Repair for anyone in need of reliable and transparent automotive services.

Great and honest place i have had two cars serviced here, both had major leaks, Cartune AUTO Repair definitely got me back on the road in a reasonable time and never had to bring the car back, will definitely keep coming back

I needed a place to put new tires and brakes on my 1990 Miata so I reached out to CarTune. From start to finish David was super helpful and prompt with answering all of my questions and providing estimates. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning drop off and by the afternoon the car was done and ready to be picked up. Prices were reasonable and I am very satisfied with the work. I will be back with my Miata for future services!

Amazing shop, Rydell took amazing care of my car and got it aligned perfectly (even if the parts I installed were kinda janky lol)100% going back for all future work I need done. Amazing staff and great work being done.
