Was visiting SD & my cars lights came on for a problem. This place was close by. They were very accommodating. Fixed the problem, topped off my cars oil and cleaned the windows. Really nice experience being away from my hood.

Charlie is super nice, very honest, and I was lucky enough that he was able to do my brakes (pads and rotors) on my Honda CR-V on the same day I called. Probably because of St. Patricks day weekend. ☺️ 100% recommend him!

i'll add my five stars to all the rest. Charlie is an honest businessman, excellent mechanic, and a fine human being. He replaced my two front breaks and suggested I also change the brake fluid - which I did since I think I never have. But then he also inspected my tires, found a nail in one and patched it without charge; he just saw it and did it. I ws going to go to the tire dealer to see if the tires have problems, but he showed me the treads and said I definitely don't need to. He said I should probably get an oil change soon, too, but when I suggested he just do it right then he said it wasn't needed yet. Saved me money four times over. And the bill for the brakes and fluid, with the free tire inspection was $20 less than the nearby shop I've gone to for years would have charged. These guys deserve all our patronage.

I had the front brakes & rotors replaced by Mr. Charlie, a brake specialist. He is a friendly and honest gentleman. I highly recommend that everyone visit here before they lose their hard-earned money elsewhere! Thanks.

They did a great job replacing my rotors. My car feels good and safe to drive again. They gave us a quote and we asked around to compare and they still had the best prices. They work fast too. I had a great experience with them.

Charlie was very helpful and went above and beyond to assess the brake pads/rotors. He got me out under 2 hours. Thankfully my parts came in quickly and he worked very quickly! He's also a very nice person. These 1 star reviews I see are not representative of his character whatsoever.

Great experience, great customer service. These guys replaced my brakes in under an hour and got me a great price to go with it. Would recommend for sure and am definitely coming back when I need my next service. Very honest and up front about things

Called and got a quote for brakes. Mine were starting to grind and I was not certain they needed rotors. They did an inspection for free and told me that I need ceramic pads and that they could have the vehicle done in about 1.5 hours. I was there less than that time and the vehicle was completed and the price quoted is what I paid. They were very honest about what I did and did not need. Will be using them again. Oh and I got same day service! Who has that happen any more? Thank you The Brake Shop & Tune for being so amazing!

I finally took my car in after hearing the infamous squeaking a little too long. Charli was nice enough to take me in last minute and was able to change brakes and roters right before the new year. He was very nice to explain to me what was still in good shape, what was needed, and not upsale anything unnecessary. If you are in need for new brakes or anything brake related, I HIGHLY recommend Charli and the Brake Shop!

I'd highly recommend this shop! I managed to get my car in last minute for a brake inspection, and we found out I needed new pads and rotors on the front and rear, as well as a brake fluid flush. Charlie estimated the price over the phone, and got to work completing the repair in one morning. Super honest estimate with parts and labor, not overselling on what you don't need. Very pleased with the work performed and being very responsive/informative in conversation. Great pricing. He's my go-to shop now!

I recieved a fair quote for the work I wanted, the work was done quickly and correctly. But here's the thing. This guy was old (er) school, and did things that made sense. No shortcuts. All about safety. He even showed me some tricks for this particular model. Very informative, friendly, and honest. I'll definitely be back.

Wow!!! Completely recommend!!! Charlie is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. What else can you ask for from a mechanic. I was in and out in 2 hrs. without an appointment. I am not from the area and I needed urgent brake work. Loud screeching coming from rear driver side tire. He attempted to get Caliper working, but it was done for. He replaced the one that was bad with a new one, same make as the one removed. Also, replaced all rear pads. Total around $400 prts and labor. 1 year/12K miles warranty. Fully recommend. Drove out feeling good about my experience at this shop. Photo shows the inner pad worn down to zero due to bad caliper. It wasn't retracting as it should. Was pushed up against rotor at all times, reason for the screeching. And for the uneven wear.
